just got word that ill be moving to south ga beginning of next year. tryn to get an idea of the drift scene is around the Valdosta area. anything going on in this area

Drifting in south Georgia, especially near valdosta....

Around there, the best you can hope for is either a drag strip or a mud bog. Good luck

ive been in southern GA for a few years now...and I have yet to see a race or drift track, everything usually caters to muddin and trucks.

But I am sure theres something in ATL.

Closest circuit tracks that I know of are in either atlanta (road atlanta) or st. augustine. I don't know of any in Jacksonville, which is closer to where I live, and I've only HEARD that there is a track in Savannah somewhere. In your future location, you could try searching gainesville or panama city.

yeha i have some friends in that area....but damn 4+ hrs one way from valdosta

valdosta not the best place to leave and expect alot of import car meets. savannah has a scene! and roebling road is a nice track. of course atl is the best place for georgia!

Road Atlanta is a fun track. I plan on borrowing a car hauler one of these days to see what my little Mazda can really do.

There's nothing here for Rx7 enthusiasts. A few "tuners" (very mixed crowd) but mostly classic/muscle cars groups. Maybe I'll see you driving around base or Valdosta.

well maybe we can start changing that...im already talking with one of the local tracks to try and organize some drift days....will see. ill be around base near the end of march...and hopefully my car will be there shortly after
