I have seeing few threads started about SFL meets but nothing for sure, and i see that central florida has a few meets every month, and i know for sure that there are plenty of rotors on SFL, so whats going on guys? Im pretty new to the forumn but had a few rx7 threw the years, come on guys lets pick a day and meet up some where, im willing to travel as far as Hollywood, since thats where i grew up. also do they still hang out at Towers on friday nights

 

I wanted to bump this I was also interested in finding out if or where the meets are in S.FL. I'm mostly interested anywhere in Miami. I couldn't find any threads talking about it and I know there's tons of people down here posting. I just got my FD about a month ago and I finally have enough courage to show up to a meet and sort of sound like I know my way around one, lol

I went to eat at Carrabba's on sunset, and I coincidentally noticed a sign by the door that said the "Rotary Club" meets there on certain weekday afternoons.

Anyone on here been there for that or know about it?

i think that the issue is that many people call and want a meet and then when the date finally comes a lot of the people that said they will come don't show up...

But I agree that we should meet.

 

yes towers is still going... some days more than others. i went there a couple of fridays ago and it was dead... but i was freaking hot man. Maybe when it cools off a bit people will come out.

Bringing this back in hopes we can all use this thread for random meets people are planning on showing up to.

To start, is anyone planning on showing up to maybe towers this Friday night or other places in Miami? I don't really know where the usual South Florida car meets are held.

There is the car gathering on 104th SW and US1 first Saturday of the month. Went this month and there was at least 100 cars, only 1 FC and 1 rx-3, was hoping to see more but they never showed up. It goes from like 6pm to whenever I think.

 

man i remember the days of going to Towers and it so packed you couldnt move. all sorts of bad *** rides from rotarys, to imports, to american muscle and everything in between. this was about 10 years ago tho. those were the days

 

Still goes on exactly to this day.

 

If I can find someone to tag along I'll probably head over to towers tomorrow

I believe that Angel from Insane Rotaries was organizing another old school meet, i will call him and find out details. As for Towers I wouldn't mind driving down there tonight if some of you guys are going.

usually people start showing up after 8:00, that's if you want to find a nice spot and keep cars together, that's if a group of people go together. if you go later than 9:00 parking is a hassle.
