you never replied back if we could meet up with you guys...if its about the club name ROTOR7VEN is our crew...but we would like to join up with the other 7s on meets and such

thats what i told him we gave him our info and he never replied back someone said we couldnt meet up because we were a club already ...someone whos in that club
thats why i dont want to show up there with 10 rx7s and be told to go away...that would be messed up

We welcome any Rotary Powered vehicle owners.. so yes of course you are welcomed to join us at our meets. I believe that there is one in the works for May in West Palm Beach.

I didnt recieve any info other than seeing your post on your desire to form a club in Central Florida... in fact I have the post here so you can read it. When you say someone said .. who is that someone because I am not aware of someone saying that.. can you give me a name ? I am sure that you know who that is... My name is Alex Rodriguez and I am trying to start a large central florida rx7 car club. Right now we have 6 cars in the club and about 10 that say they are joining but they are very hard to get to. This RX7 club will be for recreational and meets also to bring back the love of rotaries. Some of the benefits that we are soon to promote will be , sponsorship from HF AUTOBODY AND PAINT, SOUND SYSTEM SHOP, and working on a bond for car club discount with central floridas greatest rotary engine builder and racer, JESUS"KILO"PADILLA aka kilo racing.
Our club name will go on front of windshield only, our logos can go anywhere and we are working on t-shirts for members
Rotor7ven will be holding a meet once or twice a month on a designated location,time, and centralized for all members.
On these meets we expect: parts and vehicles for sale, group pictures, food and drinks, FREE give aways , and much more....its what we as a community bring to the plate. We all have a saying when you join ROTOR7VEN. Ideas and future dates can be worked out as a club.
I hope that we can recruit more RX7's and in the future promote more to the community of rx7 owners.

I guess the rx 8 folks didnt appreciate me changing jwitzer name to jwhiner.
And me offering him a consolation prize of a SO FLA CLUB T shirt for al the whining and bitching that he did at the track and on here about us embarrasing him and the rx8 club.
Not only about my 360 but he says the rx7's were peeling out underneath the tunnel and also holding back from the pace car so we can speed trying to catch up again.
Supposedly their march event in clearwater was the best.
If i ever wanted to see so many boring rx-8's ill just go to a mazda dealership.

I think we should take a poll; on how many non mazda owners, who are into performance cars, like the 8 versus 3rd gen. Nevermind the overwhelming majority of current and past 7 owners. That should settle there desparate pleas for attention once and for all, i have nothing against the owners [most 8], just the whole marketing concept. If nissan can bring back the original 240z updated version this year, i would bet mazda could do the same for 1st gen or better all gens. I think my car did slip on some stuff going thru tunnel, i think it was victory champagne from the first gens being out front. As far as clearwater meet, look at the list of merchandise they were hocking. All full retail pricing exclusively for 8's, that's how they like it i guess, up the ***.

Sup guys! I was born and raised in Miami. But now I'm in South Carolina, I go back to Miami about 4 times a year. Can't stay away from that cuban food. Are you guys rx8 and 7? what is involved in joining?

How can you blame the club for how the dealer prices the stuff that the dealer is selling at an event the dealer is providing space for? How much of this full retail priced stuff was sold? I didn't see anyone buying anything all day...
And, while I wouldn't trade my 7 for an 8, at least it's got a rotary and handles pretty well. It beat a bunch of good cars on Top Gear. And without the sales of RX-8s, there won't be a 4th gen 7.

What fun is there belonging to a club whose main emphasis is catering to the 8 ?
We changed our name from SOFLA RX7 CLUB to just RX so all would be welcomed to attend. If you saw the Clearwater event meet ... it was all about the 8.. Thier poster child.... some 7 owners told me that it was so clique-ish.. a bunch of yups in their abercrombie fitch hollister topsider boatshoes wearing attitudes. Reminds me of the V-ROD that was geared to the same Yuppie mentality. The club in Central Florida that I have worked in getting together its all about the Rotary and all Rotary powered vehicles are welcome to join... After all that is what it should be about.

Preacher you can put me down for a shirt. I'll be down their in June or July for about 3 weeks. This may sound wierd but YOU GUYS DON'T LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA! Do you guys have Cubans in your RX club? Living here for 7 years and have yet to bump into a fellow Cuban let alone one that drive's a rotary.

We have plenty of cubans in our sofla rx club...
Not enough Colombians though.. Only two.
We do have a lot of Cuban Restaurants... just about on every corner.
