In any case... I am not a bit concerned with this matter... I will continue with the club and hope to make it as successful as it can be with some officers or not... I shall continue to set up events as I have done in the past less the hostility and drama that i have been known to be a part of. We will see how it goes and like some persons have said over time in some of the meetings to keep the club small so there is more interaction and less animosity.

Having a meet once a month sounds like a good idea as it wont be as monotonous as Directfreak stated. I agree with him on that note. As far as Pepe... In some way having a sarcastic nature about me i can see where I may be compared to him .. I do have to admit although I am not in favor of it , I do admire his audaciousness and tenacitous nature but I dont praise it completely since he has only stirred up some frustration amongst some on this forum.

I, for one am not into raising anymore hostility or animosity but rather to curb my ways toward the success of a club geared to the rotorheads. A clean slate soto speak.. I hope to accomplish that in the near future. The SOFLA RX CLUB
will remain as it is but some officer to fill the vacant positions and not charge for membership as described by Directfreak... perhaps at a later time that may be important to manage the website.

I look forward to seeing many of you at tomorrow Kendall Mitsubishi night...

i feel that the "club" thing normally creates issues and then eventually, seperation or arguing or my favoite, drama.

Val, its cool that you started out a means to get all of the rotary community down south to get together. you know im cool with you and to my knowledge, everyone here that i know or knows me.

Starting the club happened along time ago. Almost everyone knows each other now. I think the whole "club" thing, meaning the trying to organize very large events, should only be done once in a blue moon.

now the going to towers, moroso, tangos if that happens anymore, auto x's and stuff like that, should just be relegated to people getting the desire to go, and posting a thread for invitations.
I went to moroso a few weeks ago and that was a simple thing. we stated a time, place, and destination. some people went, and some couldnt. it was easy, to the point and fun for those of us that went. granted it rained and that sucked but whatever.
anytime that the topic of a club comes up, normally thats where the drama is. aside from the parade lap at the hms, how many times has it really proved anything special that we all have had the label of a club? I know it must get frustrating at times wanting to get everyone togther and try to orchestrate a big event. imagine how much more everyone would enjoy themselves if they all just made their choices to go somewhere without any coaxing or goading or pushing?
