GA Sexypants restoration meet.(OGTA thing really)

Ok, headcount for the meet at Rays to rebuild my car. (Thanks soo much guys). I'll bring a basic socket set, and some bearing grease, as well as a box of misc. FB parts in case they are needed, but I have no special tools other than that. (I will brink gooseneck wrenches for the front brake caliper bolts, and a 17mm combination wrench for the strut tower to steering knuckle bolts). So if you have any tools, especially things that aren't common that you feel might be needed, bringing those would help.

Ok:
-Chris
-Crit
-Billy
-Ray

Cool, Ray's addy is on the current last OGTA thread page as well, I just don't feel comfortable putting it in more than one place on the site.

Does anybody have a good time suggestion? I want to start early and use as much sunlight as possible, but i won't want it to be unnecessarily early. Any suggestions, I don't want to throw an unreasonable number out there. Like, 8:00 is one hour into sunlight, but that's probably too early for most people, but it'll mainly depend on when Billy wants to head out and when Ray wants to start, I'll go whenever, and everyone else can just join in throughout the day, depending on how far we can get without some of the major tools like the hoist and stuff.

Just to let everyone know, I'll be making Chicken Creole (Ray's request) along with bread and Pecan Tassies (individual pecan pies). Need to feed the working crowd! Now...who's in?

I'm planning on coming, but probably not till noonish or so. Gotta take care of my brother's dog, and the poor thing is getting too old to walk, so it sometimes takes a while.

I think it would be a good idea to get the car there first and let the organizers spend a little time setting things up and making plans. So this should work with folks' various schedules, with the real work starting after lunch.

I will likely be deer hunting with my son, but we'll see.
Chris are you taking the flywheel off?

yeah I didn't plan on it, but we're moving engine, tranny, driveshaft, axel w/diff, and frotn suspension towers, pretty much everything. Also, we were gonig to do the pilot and throwout bearings, but the parts might not make it in time, I paid priority shipping monday night but one of the Mazdatrix guys messed up typing the card number and emailed me saying it was declined, I told them to try again and it went through, but it didn't ship out until Wednesday, so here's hoping the 2-3 day priority shipping works on the "2 day" side of things.
