i went for a ride in my friends rotary miata tonight
135 in 4th gear and 70-90degree turns at 80+mph no drift with the electronic teins, then 2 donuts for desert!

Rob dont slide the 1st gen til you fix your carbs. Slide the FD

 

I'm not sure its the carbs or fuel pressure. going to rejet and block off some return lines and stuff and maybe put a regulator on to check pressure. I drive so much better on the streets it is not funny. I don't miss shifts and the car doesn't starve or dump fuel when under loads except a slight hesitation when you first start out. A quick feather on accelerator, and I can smoke the tires in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears.
winded up 5th gear last night on long strait away and it was a 100 mph + w/ no problems.

 

Trust me, I use to drive that car, I know what its capable of. ***** got *****. Need a bigger tach though

 

not many people will be attending this event i'm sure since moroso is the very next day, alot more people are attracted to that badass roadcourse
