Was going great. it had a sprung RAM clutch. took it for a spirited ride the other day, and the clutch gave out. took it out today, and 2 of the 6 springs were sitting in the bell housing.

I've got a Centerforce on the way to be here tomorrow. meanwhile, I'm upgrading the tranny. I need to get 1 more part, and it's going back together. should be rollin tomorrow night, given that I can buy that part locally. Also, just got my lightweight FW back from the shop, so it's all good under the hood bro.

other than that, I had it tuned last week, put down 400hp 386tq. I'm putting in a smaller cam and completely porting the top end this weekend. got another dyno appointment in about 10 days.

here's a pic to tide you over.

And your measurements saved my front bumper from the wrath of my dad's tow strap. My dad basically built his enclosed trailor around his 914. No one thought it would fit, but Masin's measurements gave me the confidence to tell pops to load up the trailor and risk never hearing the end of it if we had to make 2 trips out to Summerville to pick the car up.

I'm in Charleston for a few days... fwiw.

Damn right it's sick. Bad, slick, mean, cotton candy-sweet and sexy (to quote a song that's probably a little before your time) too.

Nope, I unloaded the FC and picked up the FD. The FD is swapped and but the guy basically ran out of money. The engine is in and it runs great (Huge cam, LS6 intake, longtubes, 4 point roll bar), but that's about it. The only gauges in the dash that work is the tach and the fuel gauge. No PS, AC or any of that. I can get it all straight. Body and interior are clean and it's got a $2k set of rims on it to boot. One more pic. I would've posted both last time, but I was posting from my phone and didn't have both pics on it.

Anyway, I was working all night last night, so I got my days mixed up. Clutch coming in today, but I couldn't buy my other parts locally. Had to order them from....

wait for it....

Greenville.

They'll be here tomorrow and I'll be on my way home.

hehehe i now know what the 13B is an equivilant of in the eyes of the SCCA check it out

For weight designations in E Modified, Mazda rotary engines
are compared to the piston engines listed (i.e., 3.2L OHC vs.
4.5L OHV)--13B rotary engines should be equated to the 3.2L
OHC engines. 13B forced-induction rotary engines (1308cc x 2
x 1.4 = 3662cc), and all 3-rotor engines, shall be grouped with
vehicles required to meet the stated 1800# minimum weight.

Interesting, I thought I read somewhere that they would be classified as a 2.6, since the piston engines only utilize 1/2 of their displacement for every turn of the crank.

From what you're saying I'm guessing the hood is the best looking thing it has to offer?

Specs on them Masin? Plans? Make 1 out of 2?
