Savannah Tuning Session w/ Steve Kan
Gents,
I am Mark from Savannah. Some of us were talking about having Steve Kan come in to tune our cars. We have the 5 or so cars required to fly him in from Texas, but thought we would open it up to the surrounding areas.
Below is the information for Steve to come and tune. Prices are below too. He is worth every penny!
Info from Kantuning.com:
Please include the following in your post:
1) Location
2) Number of cars
3) Window of time that you would prefer service to take place
You will need at least a minimum of 5 cars before locking a date. Typically, at least 1-2 cars will drop out before the tuning session. Try to get as many cars as you can in your area before making a commitment.
We have a garage section for users to post their cars and the mods done to them. This helps Steve Kan in preparation for the tuning session and gives him an idea what he will be working with. So please consider having all members involved sign up and load their cars into our garage.
Here's the pricing structure.
Tuning costs:
$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps
On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.
Additional costs will be applied for dyno time. Most tunes take anywhere from 1-3hrs.
Pleaes let me know if you are interested.
Mark

Damn, I would love to be there myself but I am now just coming back to Afghanistan from R&R
I will talk to my father in law, since he is in the area, and see if he can take my RX for me. I will let you know depending on what he tells me ASAP.

I'm IN only if we have a time & location I can make from JAX, FL.
1) FD, BNR Sequential Twins, Street & Road Course Map. While I have water-injection, it's only a reliability mod, NOT to increase boost.

Lets aim for October... Im in the process of doing a basic tune on my TB and idle. I also got the universal datalogit with the USB adapter I can let anyone use to load maps.

Ok... Mark The original Organizer of this event is not able to attend. I am taking over and will make this happen. I know there are enough of us with Power FC's in the JAX area alone, not counting Daytona, Melbourne, Savanah and Hilton Head. Just think about it...
1. Risk Money and Time tuning yourself
2. Terrible running RICH smell when you close the garage door
3. 10mpg PERIOD!
4. Bumps all over the powerband.
5. Costly Rebuild!
I live in Melbourne, FL however I love Hilton Head so I dont mind making the drive. I am not able to provide him with accomodations or the ticket fare but if we have 10 cars im sure it will be worth his while. If worse comes to worse and Orlando is a better destination I can buy him Disney tickets =)
