the ls swap is for the g right??? or did you buy another 7 for this swap? i'm with you either way, i just think that the montego blue one is too clean of a car to do that swap... just my two cents, it is your car...

just a suggestion; let javier port the daylights out of the motor you have, pin it, and do a single turbo conversion. let justin and jay install their prefered ecu, and tune the car for daily driving and performance driving... i don't think you will be disapointed! but again it is your car...

Nah man, I was just yanking your chain. Yes, the LSx conversion is for the G. The motor in the G is eating oil and for roughly the cost of adding a twin turbo kit I can do the engine swap. Hinson just finished the conversion kit.

Yes, it will take about three weeks to get the parts from Hinson and they have projects to wrap up so we are looking at starting the swap in August.

Sounds good - just let us know!

Also, we are Haltech dealers, so let me know what you are paying, we may be able to help out.

Ok sounds good. Is the E8 model. I think they paid 1299 for the ecu with harness and an extra 75 for the boost controller.

javier- isn't it nice to have friends in high places???

well i made it to murphy, nc today... i got on hwy129/19 at hwy515, just north of blueridge, ga... i acually didn't realize how close my mom lives to hwy129!! pretty cool, wish i had the 7 up here with me.... but acually the road on the way to her house has way more turns than hwy129 from hwy515... the name of the road from murphy to moms house is joe brown hwy.. love it!!! i will try to count the turns from her house to the bottom of the mountain this weekend...

SCCA is going to be at Roebling Road this weekend for two race days. Jim Downing and Rick Engman will be there. Jim is racing his C-sport in the CSR class. Races are on Saturday and Sunday and practice and qualifying on Friday, July 4th.

Hey Dana, I posted a reply to you in the Old Guys with 12As section about this past weekend and invited you to come check out the shop today before you went back to Savannah. I guess you never got back to reading it after your post.

Sorry I missed you this weekend. You have to come over when you can get together with the rotorheads.

I won't be there this year. I went over 2 years ago and stayed at the Thunderbird Inn in Savannah. Then checked out Jekyll Island. I need to find the video of the c-sport when I was over at Roebling Road in 2006.

Jim and Rick will be there on Friday, maybe even Thursday.
