I'm deployed or I would. I think there's one on my facebook of it. Samuel Ormen Howell is me. I just don't have any with me. It's the standard red with red@black interior and what not. Paint's good except for the back side of the spoiler, it's chipping a little bit. And the red on the steering wheel is fading. It's running awesome still, the only thing I've ever done to it is take out the cat because it clogged, and was a temporary fix until I got a new midpipe, but I decided to buy an Rx7 instead. I'll try to get some pics.

Hello to the Savanna guys. I need a little help. Saturday I was coming out of Florida, heading to Savanna, and I ran into a few rotory enthusiast. They had and Orange FD and a White FD. With the was an RX-4 and a red FC. Talked with them a bit, ones name was Frank, I believe. The lady driving the FC's name was Jo. Said they were all military.
Anyways, I ran with them a bit on the highway in my Subaru. Just wanted to see who I was talking to and if they are on here. I'm in Savanna a few days and was just looking to see how the car scene is here.
If anyone know who they are, ask them to shoot me a PM on here. Thanks

The Clutch and Pressure Plate with the pilot bearing and throwout bearing cost 620 shipped, and the Streetlight Light flywheel with counterweight cost like 400ish shipped. So I spent about 1100 dollars on the setup.
Its not bad, I stalled it 3 times leaving the shop. But I think im getting the hang of it now, The worst part is reversing and turning, car just wants to take off!
There was a aftermarket clutch + pressure plate in there, but it couldnt handle the power that im putting down, this one was not slipping.

I think I will need to change mine soon. I believe there is some slipping when I push the clutch in at idle. The idle changes to higher and lower rpm, but only when I push the clutch in. Was it a pain to install?

Steve Kan Tuning
Gents,
Some of us were talking about having Steve Kan come in to tune our cars. Below is the information for Steve to come and tune. Prices are below too. Here are the cars we were thinking needed tuned:
1) Mark's FD ($450 meth inj)
2) Michael's FD ($400 w/out meth or $450 with meth)
3) Dan's FD ($400 w/out meth or $450 with meth)
4) Ed's 20B ($400)
5) Ed's FC ($400)
6) Possibly the white FD on Stewart (don't remember his name) ($350 or $400 depending on tune)
The bottom line is we have to pay $200/car deposit, pay for his airfare ($400ish), and pay for the dyno time. He can stay at my house since I have an extra guest bedroom, or I will spring for a hotel. The more we have the better off we are. We could reach out to Jacksonville too.
If anyone else would like to have Steve tune, chime in. We would need to settle on a date and make sure it works with his schedule. He is worth every penny!
Info from Kantuning.com:
Please include the following in your post:
1) Location
2) Number of cars
3) Window of time that you would prefer service to take place
You will need at least a minimum of 5 cars before locking a date. Typically, at least 1-2 cars will drop out before the tuning session. Try to get as many cars as you can in your area before making a commitment.
We have a garage section for users to post their cars and the mods done to them. This helps Steve Kan in preparation for the tuning session and gives him an idea what he will be working with. So please consider having all members involved sign up and load their cars into our garage.
Here's the pricing structure.
Tuning costs:
$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps
On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.
Additional costs will be applied for dyno time. Most tunes take anywhere from 1-3hrs.
