Hey, this is the Savannah club thread, so maybe you guys would be interested...I'm selling my 86 GXL which had an engine fire and no longer runs. Looking for $300 obo.

It has...168K miles ran fine until an engine fire less than a year ago.

Damage to engine was not extensive, mostly it's wires and vacuum lines around the engine that are burnt up. (see pic) Had just put new spark plugs and front brake pads on it.

The Tires have plenty of tread left, and the interior is in decent shape. Alright seats and carpet, if a little dusty, but like on all S4 2nd gen's the dash center stack is crap. Everything on the car is stock, and it has an alright body except for some light damage to the left rear corner. All glass intact as well.

Mostly I think this would make a good parts car, and the only reason I've kept it this long was the hope I could get it to my brother who has a beautiful Turbo II, but he doesn't seem to want to put forth the effort. And I'm getting an MR2. Now, I've got a notice from the city to move it in 30 days, so grab it now. Pick up only.

BTW I'm looking to buy a 1st gen-$2000 range, if anyone knows one here-abouts...

well testerday we met at fjdrx7 house and witnessed a heart transplant... fjdrx7 and javier were putting in a third gens motor after extensive surgery!!! awsume build these two did on the porting and big turbo convertion... maybe we can get darth to post up the pics he took of the install...

 

btw- to everybody else out there that has not come to our third sat. meet... it is very informal and don't wear your school clothes because you will most likely end up turning wrenches or getting envolved some how... that is what makes us rotor heads!!!

there was somebody on here that posted in the savannah thread that said he has a repu... i have been having panic attacks thinking about this thing..!! so when are you going to bring it out!???
