We should all meet sometime soon, and see how many RX7's we can get together at once.

This saturday would be cool, but it might be too short of notice for some people. Lets hear some opinions on date/time and location.

 

Dana may be moving back soon to Savannah, but he might have to sell his 7. I'm sure he will get another later on though....

The Import meeting at the Service Merchandise/Books-a-Million parking lot got really big lately. I went last night, and there was close to 80 cars there. Not nearly enough 7's though...something has to be done.

I cant count on one hand how many RX7's have come and gone since then, but I still have that black fc...

 

Sorry guys, but I'm not going to be able to make this weekend. I have to put the last 500 miles on my engine and have it tuned in SC, so I will have to skip this weekend, but let me know how things turn out. Next weekend I will be at the beach and the following weekend I will we in Savannah all weekend, but I'm always here during the weekdays, so if any meets come up during the week just pm me.

i pulled this thread because it envolved me about 5 years ago... but if everybody wants to get together and get to know everyone then lets do it... i see rotorwall almost everyday so i can let him know when and were... i will be in hotlanta next weekend so between now and then and there after is good with me...

 

next weekend is good for me and my neighbors. after that my schedule gets alittle sketchy, got a couple of weeks worth of hospital stays. so ya, and a couple of people from charleston might be able to make it down too.
where do people like to hang out in sav at night, parking lot parade and what not?

I'm back from SC and I was able to put the 1500 miles on the new motor in under a week. Now that I’m able to boost the car feels good and now I have a tach problem that's driving me crazy. It started after the new engine was installed. It reads about 500 to 1000 over what the FC reads or it jumps like it's crazy whenever it wants. I haven't had any problems from it before until after the engine install, so I started reading about it and it seems that everyone has to take the dash apart and redo the connections to the tach (not thrilled about doing it). When I first got into boost, it would only boost 5psi, and my mechanic figured it out of course. I read almost every boost issue and it wasn't any of the ones posted. My butterfly in the pipe going to the turbo wasn't closing all the way because of the air pipe being coated, so air was passing by and not allowing it to build up boost. Took the pipe off and took off some coating and boost was back in full force. I just need to get it tuned and I will be happy.

Oh, back to the meeting of Savannah RX-7's. I had to wash the car Monday night (removal of travel bugs) and I'm about to go wash it now (rained today for twenty minutes as usual), but I could see meeting at Moe's or the old Media Play parking lot. I would say the Savannah Mall, but I'm not sure how the mall police would act to seeing everyone just hanging out in the parking lot. I know that a lot of people enjoy meeting up at Hooters, and that's fine with me. I will be at the beach for the weekend, but back on Tuesday.

Fransico I would have stopped by, but it was around 9:00pm when I finally got in and today and tomorrow we have training ALL DAY, which means I need SLEEP!!!
Garage looks nice, you should be showing off the IC mount.
