I have got the pics and I will load them tonight, I took the seats out last night and inspected them they are in perfect condition as if straight from the factory. There is not a blimish in them. There are no cuts, tears, scratches, dull spots, burns, or crease in the leather. These seats are perfect condition. I took the time to put some items I am parting out on ebay yesterday here is the link: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...32#post4108432
There are still more to come.

the complexity of the vacuum lines on a single turbo is reduced. there are less than a 10 lines to run. The only thing that makes it "difficult" is that I will have to drill & tap some nipples for various hoses.

My weekend accomplishments
(1) Recieved Banzi motor and transmission mounts
(2) Possible food poising Fri. night =sick all weekend Ill spare you the details
(3) SEE (2)

I was planning on getting every thing prepped and back together, maybe next week.
Sorry to hear about the "food poisoning." It may not have been what you ate. I know about a week ago I was in the same boat, and my girl had the same problem a few days before me.. I think there is/was a virus running around.

You better get jumping on that TII. Slippery Sue won't be able to keep pace with me up to the mountains.

Oh yeah, forgot about the single turbo. Heh.

Oddly, I had a dream where Josh was showing off his now-running (in the dream, at least) FD to us all. And...the car was now purple. Surely, these are signs of the end times.

I just picked up my car from the painter today. It's looking niiiiiiiiiice. All the crappy little dings are gone. The moldings are still black but they have been repainted and don't look faded anymore. Right now I still need to get the new antenna mast in and bolt the spoiler back on and it should be ready.

You are going to be at the Drive-In this Saturday. We all need to see a rotary that has been in for work and is now out and running. I want to see another Jeff Brown painting.

Bert,

Steve and I won't make the drive-in this weekend. We're going to Myrtle Beach for the spring break gathering of 3000GT/Stealth International, and we're staying with our friend Will who has that black VR-4 that comes to the meets sometimes. We're taking Steve's Turbo II which is now back together pretty much, although it will be running stock boost b/c his ECU hasn't come in yet. You'll have to wait a couple weeks before you get to see everything.

It sounds like everyone is wrapping up their projects now. Rick finally got all the bolts replaced on his turbos, has the new injectors in, and is getting a new bumper put on right now. He should be ready to go to Rotorsports soon for tuning.

Well, I wen tot Rotorsports and picked everything up yesterday. Now I am just waiting on my injectors, downpipe, throttle body, and fuel rails. All this stuff was suppost to be finished except for the fuel rails but they were behind so they are going to ship it to me. But it is ok, I am just happy I got my Turbo in. OMG it is so BIG, that thing is huge I will load pics of it tonight, I can't wait to get it on this car is going to move! I have a friend who was interested in buying the seats for his wife Del Sol but I don't think they are going to buy them so I will talk to him tonight and if he doesn't want them I am going to put them on ebay tonight. I had some guy from Africa offer to buy my car last night, he saw my factory RX-8 exhaust on ebay, and for some reason he assumed the car was for sale and told me to give him a price, weird. I think Rotorsports is doing another batch of cryo treating this weekend, I know some people were interested, so you night want to give them a call if you are.

Welcome to NC man. We've had some guys from down there show up at some meets if I remember correctly so there may be hope of finding some rotorheads there. If there are any shops there or elsewhere that could do it one of the guys in this thread will most likely know. For the most part we seem to be a bunch of do-it-yourself, pay Steve to do it ,or take it to Rotorsports Racing (near Charlotte) type guys. I'm sure the guys (and gal ! oops can't leave Perky out!) would love to see your car at one of the meets when you get it done.

Welcome to the area, unfortunetly there is no place here for to legally streetrace, only on the track. Sorry guys I didn't have enough time load the photos, I was out at a friends house doing some powdr coating. If anybody needs anything, small things, I will be able to do it soon. Zoooom I am not sure what seats I'm going with yet, I need something really light.

nopiston, you probably should take the car to rotorsports. I don't know anyone who has the expertise to do that kind of setup on a 1st gen. Steve (Smoken') and Ashraf (Bond007) are known for their expertise in 2nd and 3rd gens respectively.

Yes, welcome to NC. There is a guy setting up a rotary shop in Greenville, a little west of Marineville. He posts on here some time and if I get a chance I'll look back and find his forum name. We'll have a down east drive-in in May and plan on a bunch of us from the middle part of the state driving down and meeting a bunch from eastern NC. Clinton or Morehead City should be good places to meet. If you get a chance you can drive about 1.5 hours to Raleigh for a Rotary Drive-In. We get together every 2nd & 4th Saturdays at 5:00 PM or 1700 hrs, which ever comes first.
