I got a call from someone who is organizing an RX7 Car Show in Fort Lauderdale this year...
its going to be big... so let me know if you want to exhibit your car... there will be vendors as well so it will prove to be a good show.

This friday I will be meeting with them to work out the details.

ya depends when its going to be, my car will not be finished for another 2 months but, I here is whats going on.

Hopefully it will turn out good.

 

When are you planing to have this meet. I live in coral springs and have one of my rx-7s up for sale and would be willing to bring it down. My other one is in the shop so it wouldnt be able to make it. PM me and tell me wuts up.

 

I used to live in Springs, I moved out to Tamarac. There is a pretty big following of 7's around Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami.

 

I'm in, depending on the time/date. Of course I'd be admiring other RX7, not displaying my far from flawless ones.

thing is Ali's car is just the pimp status car Outkast is looking good but is to fast for the girls (except his) and ali is slow but looks like a pimp how do you think he picks up his honeys =)

yeah i guess i didn't express myself properly...lets say i park my 1st gen next to Paul's...whats teh point lol. I just did nto build a showcar thats all. Nice pics btw, the only car i didnt like was the 1st gen next to the rx8.

 

sup with Javi??? javis car is running like a champ still up for sale tho... but i personally dont think he wants to sell his car but w/e to late for that now hopefully i can get my **** running soon so lets see how that goes...

I had a long conversation with the organizer of this car show... we are looking into having it in about 6 weeks or it may go to 8 weeks out.

Reason being is that the weather may be a factor. The organizing committee is trying to make a decission whether or not to have it indoors or outdoors. So that is where we are at present.

What do you think ? Indoors or Outdoors ?


For now we have discussed three different classes 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place trophies instead of plaques. I thought trophies would be best since most people prefer a trophy than a plaque.

We have a lot more chats before all is finalized... from the looks of it I believe that its going to be a pretty nice show.

I will keep all informed.... call me or email me.... Its a lot simpler than getting online and having to read thru all the junk that is transpiring on this forum.
