I think indoors would eliminate the possibility of rain/strong sun.

It will be a car show like a car show should be with food and refreshments. There may be a bikini contest as well... dont know yet on that one...

 

although weater can be a factor, my vote if outdoors

I have been talking to the promoter Tommy and its definitely good for the outside... perhaps at C.B. Smith Park or another park in Ft. Lauderdale close to the ocean... pretty soon we will have a meeting with everyone to discuss the specifics... VAL

 

Well Guys... It doesnt seem like this Ft Lauderdale Car Show is going to happen after all. The promoter for this event doesnt return my phone calls to give me any more info. The last time I spoke to Tom he said that it was going to happen at a park in FTL . So at this point I have nothin' more to say on the matter.

If he has something to say... then he will have to make like Sitting Pale Feather and send me a smoke signal since its apparent that his cell phone or email is non-existent.

I will be looking to seeing all of you in two weeks at the Meet in Kendall on July 24th.

well....if you all are still interested we can do a meet up here at Streets Finest in West Palm.....plenty of room and a DYNO.....i can do 2 runs with wideband for 45bux or more pulls for 65....afterwards we can do a cruise from the shop for dinner at any of the big name food spots close by....Fridays, Chilis, (you get the idea)....if you are interested just let me know and i will start a new thread dedicated for this event.....

I will see what the guys at my next meet have to say about it... WPB is a bit of a distance.

 

Jose Berroa from SUPERCOMPACTO magazine who some of you met at the place of the 1st Meet in West Kendall back in March 2005 informed that there is a Car Show on the same day of this coming July 24th Meet "Meeting of The Minds".

It just so happens to be in West Kendall less than 21 blocks from where I our gathering will be. I spoke to Gilbert who promotes these car shows and he said that he would stop by our meet to see the cars and also meet the people.

It might be a good idea once after we all get to my shop location to maybe go out there as a group all RX7's and that would be some tremendous entrance.. Dont you think ?
