GA Recommendations for engine builders

Want to start putting together a plan for my engine build, so I'm looking for recommendations for builders in GA (preferably) or surrounding states. I know what I want out of the engine and what my use cases will be, but will need some guidance as far as specifics for the setup. Really just want to avoid becoming another rotary horror story by being upsold **** I dont need, or having parts magically walk off while its at someone's shop.

Would appreciate any advice, recommendations, or testimonials.
