Red face Rebuild guidence in Orlando

As the name says, i'm rebuilding my engine. It's the Series-4 13BT. I really would like to rebuild it myself, but to be honest. I'd probably end up doing more harm than good. So to cut to the chase. I need someone who's rebuilt their motor before(preferably with sucessful results) in the central fl area that's willing to help a quick learner. I know sending the motor out would be much easier, but I want to be able to say i've had a hand in my build up. If someone is willing to help, please get to me about it. I haven't heard my baby running in over three months.

I thought about doing the same but like you didnt want to mess things up even more, even though people say its not that hard. I just had mine done at a shop for under $2000.
Good Luck man! :-)

yeah what Josh said. I recommended him to my buddy's shop. I'm sure Josh will back me up on this, but Jose Fuego does great work at a good price. Give him a call 407 438 1568. Tell him Cuban Rey sent you. He'll hook it up!

Heh, Jose Fuego knows me already. He's pretty cool from what i've seen. Come to think of it, I think i've seen your car there a couple of times. Has it always had those Volks on it? Did it use to ride on some small silver wheels? If so, It caused me to salivate so I decided not to get to close for sake of hyperventalating. Sorry for the detailed description, but your car is what mine wants to be when it grows up:P But yeah, back on topic. Has anyone watched the Atkins video? That was going to be my major tool in this rebuild of mine.

I should give him a call though, because i'd like to have it streetported too(no point in rebuilding it then ripping it apart later to do it)

My car used to ride on stock FD wheels painted gunmetalish black.

Maybe it was someone elses then. Yet and still, your car is damn sexy. maybe one day i'll get to see it and go for a ride. It's been so long since i've riden in a car worth riding in.

Can do captian, he said he'd charge me $1,500 for the rebuild. So I guess i'll go that route just for simplicity.
