GA Power fc owners/tuners in atl?

hi guys i finally got a hold of a power fc and commander for my 94 fd and am wondering if there are any owners and or tuners in the atlanta area that can share their knowledge and experiences with me, possibly help me with my car as well?

anywho, i did the all data init, turned off o2, idle learn and retarded timing as per this link- https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...needed-841706/

i was successful, however, everytime after that i start the car, it dies after a few seconds, im thinking its cause the engine is cold? furthermore, when the car is warm and stays on, when i start to drive, there are times where when rolling i lose throttle. the best way i can describe is that i will put down maybe 20% throttle then the throttle dies, like i lose gas, the car, just rolls and then i try again after a few seconds and then the throttle comes back.

i have the banzai block off plate kit, no air pump, and i think i removed the isc as per block off plate kit.

can anyone help me? i have beer! trying to get my car running decently for dgrr as i am signed up and ready to go!

thanks, marlon from Atl

Jacksonville, FL is only 6 hours away. Get your car professionally tuned by Steve Kan. Although it is after DGRR, you should be able to get your car stable between now and DGRR. Then, come on down for a tuning session. https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-foru...e-9-a-1030938/

after somemore research, as per dale clark's power fc faq, i am experiencing this-
2d. My car stalls and doesn’t run that well when cold with my new PowerFC. What’s
up?
The water temp correction settings the PowerFC comes with aren’t perfect for many
people. They need to be richened up. Bring the numbers up for the temps where you
notice stalling over a few days until you find the best spot to get the car to run well.

so, can anyone elaborate on this so i can try to get this taken care of? as of right now, i have put the stock ecu in until i can get more information

I installed my PowerFC last week so I do not have the knowledge base to help you. I too followed arghx's "how to...," but I only turned off O2 feedback and changed the timing. I fixed the idle hunt with the air adjust screw. Only other problem I had was idle drop, nearly to stalling point, when the ac kicked on. However, the PowerFC self adjusted after a 2 hour drive and my car now idles perfectly. Check out the PowerFC engine management forum for your issue. Someone was bound to have experienced what you now face.
