ALMS is one of the finest forms of true sports car racing. All of the support series are also worth watching. 4 days of partying and kick *** racing. Country boys getting drunk with dudes in Ferraris. If anybody needs a place to crash (will be camping Fri. night, though) or any questions let me know. If you don't go, it will definitely be your loss. You'll spend $75-$125+, depending if you park in field. Come on Holly, back me up.

I just started a car club recently and we will be out there. I have a couple Rx-7s in the club too as well as some other nice handling rides.

Always looking for more rotary guys to join the club too. We are not about show, more about go and hanging out a driving events (auto-x, track days, races, drifting).

I plan on camping out Fri. for the race Saturday. Where are the Rotary guys going to be?

I live close to the track, so do you 1234...Reed. If folks want to camp Fri. night, meet at either place and ride from there. If not, look for us at the field between the esses and the back str8 (before you get to the skid/autocross), at the top of the esses, or the infield side of 10A (hopefully be camping there). Send me or 1234rotor a message if anyone would like to make something worthwhile out of this amazing event. Every year, the only person from here I see is Holly. I haven't heard from her in a while, and to Reed I got in trouble last night 9/16....

 

i thought you were going on wednesday, i am going to try to get there wednesday morning, even if i have to go by myself if josh cant get off that early. Justin from Chattanooga (the dude who met us in Sebring, slept in his car, then disappeared.) is coming down, and bringing a John Deere gator, so we will have something to ride around in. I am also bringing my dirtbike. So we will be able to get around the track easier with our photo passes. Oh, one of my pics is also in the program this year on page 9.

hotel room!!??!?!? Camping is so much better at the track! Although, a hot shower is nice.

Is there anybody else that will let us use a shower at thier hotel? Depending on where it is.

I'll be there again this year, Friday and Saturday. Probably will spend most of the time around Spectator's hill. I highly doubt I'll be in the 7 though, more likely the Bronco.

Where does everyone feel like camping out at? I will be at one of these three places more than likely..... Turns 3/4..... Turn 5(not likely)..... or turn 10a

Check the track map on www.roadaltanta.com if you do not know where these turn areas are. I will try and post up where me and my club will be once I get camp set-up Fri. morning.

 

I fly out this afternoon landing tonight at 10pm. On the ALMS forums there is talk of meeting after the Thursday evening night practice. Who's down with that? You can sleep in your truck, get an infield parking pass and nobody will know the difference.
