I think she has part to put back on, but it is hooked up. Thanks for providing the part Brett. You saved her on that.

On Tuesdays, I am taking a class at 6:00 that ends at 7:30 and I am pretty far from the OGTA when I'm at school, I have missed a lot of OGTA meets lately and would I would be down for a small meetup either the 26th after 3:00 pm or anytime on the 28th. We could meet up and hang out at Stone Mountain park, but that would cost money to get in. It's only $10 for one day, or $20 for an annual pass (not bad, twice as expensive for 365 times the usefulness). Or we could just meet up in the area somewhere else.

Yes I do still have the Miata, no I do not have any extra interior parts. Owning a car 95 is a little different than owning an 83. I didn't have to accumulate 3 boxes worth of parts car interiors to make one complete interior haha, so I just have all my own original stuff. Best of luck getting what you need though.

Here is a unique pic. Pulling an old school going down the road & getting a thumbs up from a S4 TII.

Sweet.

Here's another weird thing. Cathy and I are out burning the brush in front of the house, this time we hope without a visit from the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department (fine lads, I can attest) when Cathy starts whooping and then a beautiful Tornado Silver FB goes by out in front of our house.

Been in Jefferson 10 years and never seen anything like that. (except when the Carolina Boys come to visit).

From the GSL emblem I'm guessing it's Greg the Younger's car.

Cathy said it looked like Brett, but we know Brett couldn't afford that pretty a car, so I'm guessing it must have been one of Greg the Younger's kid's out on a joy ride.

Nice dad.

Oh Really?!

Margie and I were down at the lake this weekend.
Funny, I don't remember talking to the boys about driving the 7.
I guess I will now.

They were just exercising the seals dad. It needs to be done once in a while to all OGTA vehicles. I encourage that type of behavior !

I have the same issue. I have classes at Georgia State Monday and Tuesday 4:30-9:45pm. I would be all-in for meeting any other days until this semester ends. I live near the Grayson/Loganville area so I would need to leave my place at 3:30 to make it to GSU on time on Mon and Tues

Can't change the dates of the OGTA meetings, it's in the Charter. Why don't you head on down for the Mitty? That's like an all day OGTA meeting that is going to last all weekend.

Yeah I'd really like to know who it was that drove by the house in that beautiful Tornado Gray FB this weekend. Greg your FB is the only one I know with paint that looks that good.

If it was your kid at least he wasn't speeding, although Jefferson River Road does offer some interesting twists and bend down the road.

Like Dave says, you need to blow the carbon out once in awhile, right?

The guy honked at us so he knows where we live, Cathy got a good look at him and said it looked like Brett, dark hair, young guy. Maybe Brett finally smartened up and bought an FB?

I second that! Now that none of my kids live a home.

Couple quick questions..

Will the sunroof crank assembly from an 83 work in an 85?

Is there a difference in color between a 83 black interior crank assembly and an 85 gray interior crank assembly? I'm thinking the crank assembly is black in both cases. Is this right?

"Is there a difference in color between a 83 black interior crank assembly and an 85 gray interior crank assembly?"

The answer is No. It's called spray paint.

And the '83 cranks are much better than the 84/85 ones, I still wish I'd snagged that unit Chris had in Sexy Pants - that thing was smooth.

We will be pulling our little camper with us so not sure where we will end up. Might park it in billys driveway for a day or two and visit stone mountain and maybe the zoo again (since I have not fixed the truck where they broke in last time). I understand with cost.

Ray, sexypants is not so sexy anymore. Pulled the motor and tranny from her this weekend, interior is gutted, few more parts and she will get a date with the plasma cutter (gotta save good panels).

Im shooting for the mitty. Billy wants me to bring the caged track car down with me. We'll see..... if diesel goes to 6.00 a gallon no way will this boy be going anywhere!

Well gotta go finish loading parts into the back of the truck for the trip. Several Ga and FL peeps taking advantage of free shipping.... he he

It may be U2 Star dust Blue. A9 Daytona Blue was only offered in 1979. If you know what year the car is that might help.

Thanks for your help, Ray.

For those who may be interested. The part number is the same between 81-83 and 84-85. However the paint code and description are different. 81-83 code is 00 despription is Black. 84-85 code is 65 description is Off Black.

I think this sounds close enough. If the price plus shipping is reasonable, I will buy the 83 sunroof crank assembly and then we can decide at the next OGTA how close the colors are.
