I said the gas station cause it would be convenient for anyone needing to stop to get gas, drinks, etc. Once you past the movie theatre, Habersham Cinema, the gas station will be about a mile up on the left. The gas station is right after the Toccoa exit. You go past the Toccoa exit and you immediately go under an overpass. Just after the overpass there is a redlight and the gas station is on the left.

I have three 2-way radios that I intend to bring with me. I will have one extra. When we get to the gas station I can lend one to someone.

A= Habersham Cinema

Just past it you can see where 441 and 17/365/123 cross. The exit for 17/365/123 is the Toccoa exit.

Donnie, we are meeting up at one of the biggest convenience stores (Wal-Mart), just before we meet up with you. We should just be able to swing by, or contact you to drive in to meet up with us. And, for caravaning and getting back out in traffic, gas stations on the left are not a good idea.

Oh, we should have the rotary Porsche 911 joining us on Friday too.

BTW, I have a couple of extra 2-way radios too. But I don't have AAA batteries. The other one I have, uses AA batteries, which I have.

Well, the redlight would make getting back onto the highway easy, but I see what youre saying. Well, justhave Billy or someone call me when you get close and we will just jump on the highway with you guys.

I am in the same boat Holly, I have three radios and only 3 AAA batteries

I dont know if I will be able to get any before DGRR or not. I will bring them anyways and hopefully at some point get batteries.

Well, I am heading to class, coming back and making the car drivable, and then heading to Toccoa to finish prepping the SA.

money is still a factor whether i make the drive sat or not. looks like it'll be $50 for me. don't know if any from this area r going to caravan with.

We will be meeting at the walmart at 11:30 and then pulling out at 12:00.

This will put us in Toccoa at 1:00.

I'm going to be on the GA-400 side of 20 (exit 14) at around noon. It will take me roughly 20 minutes to get over to 985 from there. In other words, the earliest I can get to 985/20 is 12:20/12:30. Don't let me hold you guys up. I might contact John and see if he's coming the same way as me. If anyone else is coming the same way as me (Cumming to Buford), contact me at (404)661-3316.

I haven't been on this site in about 5 years, but my roomate is still an RX7 guy, so we need to hook up with some locals. What's the itinerary? We live off of Spout Springs on 985, and can possibly hook up as you pass, or meet you in Toccoa. Of course, we're both working stiffs and have stuff to get out of the way before we can escape. You guys figure it out, and tell me when & where, and we'll try to be there. He wants to be @ the mall at 12:30pm if that's still solid. What part of the mall do you guys claim?

Brandon, glad you worked it out.
Gearhead, we are meeting at the Wal-Mart, not the mall of GA. I-985N at Exit 4, We will be leaving at noon. So you might want to get there before then, gas up, make purchases, food or whatever you need. We use 2-way radios for communication... channel 7.
We have one more coming too a black 3rd gen... Mike.
