hey i need someone to do a rebuild for me, I dont have the tools or the time to do it and I am having a hard time finding someone to do this for me. the coolant seals blew from an over heat and i dont know if the coolant passages in the irons might be damaged as well. I will buy whatever parts needed once the engine is taken out and torn down. I prefer a budget rebuild since the engine was rebuilt with new apex seals around 2k miles ago.
if anyone know of someone in my area please let me know, thanks. Also someone who can tune a microtec would be a bonus as well.

yeah too far, miami would be closer and more realistic since im from there and i have family there, but i also know there are a lot of scammers in miami
i want this fixed because i havent driven it in 6 months. Another reason i want this fixed is because my step father (who got me into rx7's) was in a car accident that almost completely severed his right arm. I promised him that once this car is finished and he is healed up then we will take a ride together since he hasnt driven an rx7 in about 15 years and he loved his car.

Sorry to hear about that, I hope he has a quick recovery.

I'm in Fort Myers (work in Naples) and recently bought a 1994 FD, were you able to find someone local that works on the FD's?
I don't need anything today, but buy the way I've been driving it I suspect that I'll be needing to talk with someone (It's just too much fun to leave it in the garage for quiet Sunday mornings)
It has 73k miles on it, I don't know much about it except it has what I call "tasteful mods" only and runs great (99 front bumper but no other body mods)
Any luck with a good local Mazda FD guy?
Thanks and good luck with your build, hope to see you on the road soon!!

Not sure what your budget is looking like but the answer is closer than you think Mike Lowe
