NC NC Triad Rotary meet and GTG

I have been going to several cruise-ins and car shows in the triad for a while, and very rare do you see a Rotary car. I'm thinking about getting a group of Rotorheads (doesn't matter what year or model car as long as it have a ROTARY engine) to start meeting up and helping turn wrenches as well as going to shows and meets, we can pick a different city with in the triad to meet and talk cars. If anyone have any suggestions I really appreciate it. The next car meet is at twin peaks this Thursday July27 starts at 6pm. (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Burlington, and any near city.)

Same, I never saw this thread... But let's do it.
Anyone interested in a quick meetup this Sunday? I checked the weather for Chapel Hill, and it looks like cloudy... but if that doesn't work, maybe the following weekend.
I'd love to meet you guys.

If you can give some advanced notice I may be up for the drive from Lake Norman (Huntersville or Charlotte if you don't recognize those two names for where I live).

I can't make it up there this weekend, I'm on call for work. Not to mention my FC is down due to a coolant leak which I will fix once the weather gets nice again. Let's keep trying though.

73rx3, do you happen to be the High Point guy that I see on the list for DGRR '18? If so, looking forward to seeing you there, if not sooner, locally. I am in Asheboro.

Sounds like a plan, you and your group staying at Nantahala village or elsewhere?

Just checking in again too.
I'm down for a meet up any weekend around the area.
I'm moving to Greensboro full time in May.

FYI, everyone.
There is cars and coffee meets on Tate St. in Greensboro every 3rd saturday of the month.
I've been managing to get to most.
So, the following saturday whoever is around should plan on coming!

Last meet there was only 1 other FD, and a few FC's.

This post you quoted was from last year. Not much activity on this thread lately, though I'd like to see it pick back up. My FD project is going to be wrapping up and on the street in the next couple of months. Would love to meet up with other rotor heads some day.

Haven't been to a Let's Talk Cars in years. How are they these days? Ever see any other rotaries? Or still mostly older classics? I'm always working late on Thursdays, ironically only a few miles away on N Main in HIgh Point. Hopefully my FD will be finished in the next couple months and I will have to make time one Thursday evening.
