Dunno, maybe we're ( the main crew) too busy posting on the www.ncrotaries.com site hah! Seems like the people from down east want to use their thread on here for some reason. There's 168 members on the site listed with about 20 of us being very active, including the guys from ROAR Racing Grand Am KONI Series.
Last meet we had 7 FCs parked on the showroom deck. One was even a carbed 20B setup, couple of T2s, a vert, GTU, GXL... oh yeah, there were a few RX-8s there also hah!
Anyways, next meet is July 12th. We're also in the planning stages for a hopefully large turnout for a cookout to be held at Falls Lake or at Southern States Mazda in the next couple of meets. We're also setting up the Mazda Days Fan Festival during GT LIVE at Virginia International Raceway in October.
We're busy, having fun.

Had a great time at the BBQ. Sorry to dine and dash but I had a full schedule which included more BBQ! Hmmm good.
Anyway, it was great to finally meet some faces behind the screen names and see some more 7s. Next time I'm up in Raliegh I'll try to schedule it around one of your regular meets.
I've got pics of the cars I'll post up here and on the NC site as well later this week.

Rotary Freak
Hey NC rotorheads,
Check out the Blue Ridge Rotary Run that will be held on October 25th and 26th here:
https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/oct-25-26th-b3r-778536/
A few spaces are left for the group campsite. This will be a nice fall run on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is right in your back yard.

Thanks to everyone that came out. I counted about 30 plus people (not including kids and the dog!) and a great turnout of 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen RX-7s and several RX-8s. Lots of pics listed on the NC Rotaries forum. Special thanks to Bryan from RotorSports Racing and everyone else who drove a few hours to make it! Was a lot of fun and really good to see everyone.
Now.... it's time to turn our attention to GT LIVE. You can find it on our site on the main page and forum and also a thread stickied on here. This will be a huge event and we want to make sure everyone gets in on this that can.
Next meet is this weekend at SIX PM, not 5PM, 6 PM!!!! at Southern States Mazda on Wake forest Road in Raleigh!

The 15th will be our only meet this month due to Thanksgiving. We'll probably only have 1 in December due to the holidays. Check the NC Rotaries website as well as here. As soon as we figure out what works for everyone next month I'll post it up!

Next meet is Dec 20th it looks like. Details... NONE yet hah!
Last meet... wimps. I do have to admit most of us were worm out from being at VIR all day Friday and the weather sucked Saturday night. So... seeing as this will be the last one of the year, let's do something and do it right!
