We're the old RRDI (Raleigh Rotary Drive In) guys who had the Saturdays in Raleigh thread on here!

Anyways... we decided to expand on the theme since we went from being just Raleigh to statewide along the way since we've had people from all over the state joining up, along with a Grand Am race team that hangs out on there.

Last year we hosted Mazda Days during GT Live at Virginia International Raceway and held several road trips and other meets at various places. We're planning more of the same this year club wise along with a lot of other events from meets to driving events for the various "chapters" across the state. It's a great way to keep up with what's going on in your part of the state and get in on major events also.

 

Count me in. I am already around in the SE at meets enough

 

I wondered what happened to you guys. I haven't seen you around in what seems like ages.

 

Man we had the Saturdays in Raleigh thread closed back in July. It got to the point we couldn't keep up with it! 11, 434 replies, 151, 627 views and 458 pages... ack! We figured it was easier to have our own website and then decided since we had so many people coming to the Raleigh meets from across the state to just go ahead and make it a statewide site for everyone.

 

Gotcha, I registered on your new site! I must say it is nice looking! I look forward to being at you guys next meet in January now that I know where it is! Cool Deal my man!

 

Would it be cool if the meets wern't only in raleigh? We have a meet down here in Statesville area. We pulled I believe 9 cars last time (thats a lot for us, this restarted and its only the 4th or 5th meet so far). It would be cool to have them around the state and have mini caravans to them. Like having meets wherever, but maybe one big seasonal meet somewhere?

Just tossing out ideas!

 

Yeah, that's the whole point. There are sections for meets going on in other places besides Raleigh on there now. Then we also have a section for major meets for getting everyone statewide together for different events and locations.

Raleigh Meet this weekend. Southern States Mazda on Wake Forest Rd, from 5pm to 8pm. Then we'll head somewhere for food and fun.

 

As soon as i get this new '7 on the road I'll be up to see you guys.

 

Grrr! I want my car on the road- Torque converter went out....but the 5 speed and master and slave sitting right next to the car with the driveshaft! friday i will be ordering the remainder parts for the complete swap! sooo im shootin for Feb. 2nd and 3rd to work on it! When im finish- i'll be bringing another fc and a fd to one of these meets! wish me luck!!!

whats goin on guys. i live climax, its right below greensboro. Im new to the Rotary scene. just thought id introduce myself. im glad to see theres alot of ppl in NC on here.

 

Hey man, yeah there's a couple of good threads on here for meets and also on the NC Rotaries link in my sig.

There is s a meet this weekend in Charlotte, next weekend meets in Raleigh and Moorseville. The Jacksonville and Wilmington crew are always up to something, can keep up with it here or on NC Rotaries.

 

MY MOTOR TURNS UP TO BE BLOWN! does anybody around raleigh have a spare motor?! im not trying to spend a million dollars, i just want my baby on the road! ask around for me and let me know the deal! pm me please with something!
