NC NC Rotaries Annual Falls Lake Cookout

The Falls Lake Cookout is official!

When - August 15th 2009

Where - Falls Lake Shelter #28

Time - 10AM to 2PM
Lunch around noon time!
We can stay as late as we want since the gates close at 8:30PM!

Details - Food and drinks provided, guests donate to the cause!
Yes if you really need or want to bring something you can!

Directions - Get up early Saturday morning, eat breakfast, pack what you need (camera, sunscreen, Frisbee, radio, etc), get in your Mazda vehicle (leaving early enough to be there at 10AM) and drive yourself (and friends) to Falls Lake Shelter #28, pay $5 at the gate to get in, go to the shelter and park your car, get out and ooh and ah over all the other cool Mazda cars, meet and greet all the other cool people, check out all the cool cars, take lots of pictures, socialize, donate to the cookout and eat, take more pictures, socialize and check out the cars again, nibble on leftovers, set up for group shots of people and cars, socialize some more, pack up and drive home safely after enjoying a wonderful day at the cookout.

Question

Bump 'cause I can't believe that no one is interested in coming to this after the turnout we've had the last two years.

What if we throw in some goodies?

I need to contact Byran and see if he can make it again and we hope both of you can make it also. It looks like we may be having a rather large turnout!

91 degrees, variably cloudy with a few PM showers and storms. Works for me!

We have a huge shelter with a dozen picnic tables, bathrooms, plenty of parking and will be long gone before it rains. Even if it does rain we don't care, cars look cool when wet and we'll be under the shelter having fun.

Just got an email from Bryan at RotorSports Racing and he's going to come to the meet again this year! As of right now, we have 24 confirmed and 15 maybes. Still plenty of time to throw your name into the hat! Weather looks great and we're looking forward to having a great time!
