Took her out for a spin with my 3"exhaust cutout open. Man what a difference. It is loud but fast. With my crappy tires, it will break loose at the top of second gear. I have got a set of Firestone Indy 500's 215/60-14 on order.

I was going to ask what you were doing for OMP, but then I saw you have an S4. Dammit.
DJ when you go to a stand alone and ditch the factory ECU then ditch the S5 front cover for a S4 cover so you can run mec. OMP.

What did you use for the air temp sensor? Mine has the wires broke off at the sensor. I'm not sure if I have another one or not, I should though. But my question is, you definately have to have this, correct?

I used the stock S4 sensor. According to the Microtech manual, it is not mandatory to have a air temp sensor(as long as you haven't programmed corrections based on it), but I would figure it would definently help.

Yeah maybe, but I am thinking pre-mix or the RA kit.

Premixing is not a good idea!!!! Trust me I had a rx7 that I had to do that with and I will never do that again!

I would just take the time to convert the front cover over to S4 once you get rid of the S5 ecu.

Just got done driving back from Huntsville in the SE. Seems to have held up fine and stayed cool. Finally got to run it out and ended toying with an 250hp turbo Integra. Got him in first and second, then spent too long hunting for third. Oh well. Ended up talking to him and spreading the good news of rotary power. Just thought I'd give an update.

So coming back from Huntsville I am assuming your car is tuned now?

No. I haven't tuned it yet. I was at the Super Chevy Show at Huntsville Dragway. But with the 550cc's back in, it runs good and pulled 12.5psi in the cool air last night. That is on the stock wastegate and no boost controller.
