hey greg, when i'm finally able to get it painted..which will come after i get the hood i want, i'm going to plan to leave it with who ever is painting it for a few days...so i'm not rushing to get it done...i'll have it arranged so i can...

as for piston vs rotary...do what you want to ur car to keep you happy...

 

Good lord people... just trying to make a joke,... i.e. make light out of something that is obviously not funny or fun situation in hopes to cheer or even lighten up Tray's spirit.

The only person here who should have taken any offense is the only person who took it in stride...

If your interested in my personal opinion about the piston vs rotary, I'll quote what Tray said, "as for piston vs rotary...do what you want to ur car to keep you happy...

Now grow up people... don't be so sensitive over the size of your pistons... or rotors which ever your case may be...

hey gianny...i honestly welcome jokes at my expense. I know i screwed up, why can't i laugh at it too??? And I shall always get comments about the "heavy v8" throwing off the car...probably why it dived into the rock face...the added weight and all...like when u tie a rock something throw it...

good stuff...hopefully pix tonight of the car with no fender nor front bumper...and see what else mangled...and show the tie rod end!

UPDATE...

Picked up front bumper cover, support, headlights, and turn signals yesterday, Thanx again Gianny...

And I'm waiting on the inner front tie rod end from Advance Auto...they had the outer one in stock, so its sitting in the car...

still need to find a front driver's fender...and looking for scoot hood...

 

Ok, so the inner tie rod end showed up finally...i now have both of them on the car, rebent my fuel and brake lines to no longer directly under my transmission...tomorrow i hope to get the aluminum brackets off my old front bumper cover and attach them to the replacement. I also need to fix the turn signal wire from the drivers side...one of the wires on the mini-harness was snapped...5 min fix if i'm being really slow...

so, i'm still trying to locate a driver's side fender and holding out for a scoot style hood...just waiting on a few PMs to be returned...

just figured i would update everyone...probably get pix this weekend of the car

ok, i now have a set of fenders to put on my car...black JDM from a front clip...will post pix later of them in my possession...

 

So where are the pics...lol Oh and BTW. Tray you got me addicted to the LT series motors. So I went out and picked up a 97 Camaro Z28 1LE with an LT4/T56 out of a '96 Corvette Grand Sport! Can we say holy hell that bastard can fly! It can easily take out a modded FD. I have done it with one here in Greensboro. I have taken out other LT1 and LS1 Camaro Z28 SS and T/A WS6 Ram Air with ease. lol

ok, here is along over due update...the car is sitting at my house and about to go with me in 2 wks to jacksonville, nc. The only replacement part I dont have is a hood...I will eventually get one...life is going a different direction at the moment...

anyway, i'll be sure to get some pix when it finds it new work space...another yard (or possibly car-port!)
