I got two words for ya, awe some. I had a blast and learned tons about me, the car and driving. It was also cool learing how to flag and work the course which also gave me another chance to watch and learn the track. I really want to thank the MSCCNC guys, the instructors and everyone else who made this happen.

The biggest pat on the back goes to you participants. Without you there would have been no fun. We hope to do another, but we will need more participants next time to make it happen.

this is the first chance I've had to post since Saturday but I just wanted to say THANKS to Ashraf and the rest of MSCCNC and THSCC for making this happen! (I hope they see this thread) This was the coolest event I've ever been to, awesome course, sweet cars and super nice people.. I'm still very much a novice but I did learn a few things and man I had a blast! I hope to do something like this again, great job guys!

We will be planning another, but depends on you all to make it happen for sure. We'll need to fill all the available spots next time.

Yeah do one of these again and I'll be there for sure. It was really great the way the instructors worked with everyone. It was obvious watching that as the day progressed everyones driving was improving as people were becoming more in tune with the track and cars and what the instructors were passing on. I really liked how Adam had me work on diferent sections each time and then put them all together. My best run was 21 secs faster than my first run and I never thought I would ever get it down to those numbers. I find myself still running the course in my head like Adam suggested which was a great idea. I'm still thinking about all the tips and advice he gave about my car and driving in general and the ways it can handle or will/would/should etc whatever and so on and so forth hah! I had emailed Steve Coleman (my old IMSA/SCCA buddy) about the autocross to tell him about the results and stuff and he invited me up to VIR yesterday along with doing some events with him next year where he'll be instructing. Anyways... I found myself taking that nice back road trip up 86 to 119 and 57 and back in a whole new perspective. I found myself thinking and visualizing and being able to feel the car and road more than ever before. I'm really stoked about what I learned for one event and can't imagine what it would or could be like it if I were able to attend more events like this and others. I also really hope I can hook up with more instructors like Adam. It was like having a friend in the car helping me and it was real easy to talk straight up with him about what I was thinking and all. Anyway you guys did one hell of a job with this. Getting great instructors, an awesome layout that really taught us several concepts, good pizza (hah!) and a lot of cool people and cars. Many thanks again to the MSCCNC, the THSCC, the instructors and everyone else involved. I'm hooked and yes I looked at helmets while I was at VIR hah!

That belongs to Andy Lee (riceman1998). His FD always get's all the looks and attention, but for good reason.

Thanks Sonorous7 and Eric for the complements.
Now if I can just find time and opportunity get this car tuned properly to adapt to single turbo setup.

It was good to know someone at the autocross was taken few pictures. I wish I had my camera there. By the way, nice picture Sonorous7. What class were you running at the event and how did you do?

hey np, I wish I could've taken more but I was lucky to get those (found an old disposable camera in my backpack). I was running CSP and.. I don't think my times were too hot.. but again, had a blast!

You guys that are twiddling your fingers trying to decide if you should come are missing out on a really great opportunity.

Not that this is necessarily an entirely accurate comparison but look at how much a McKamey Evolution school costs: $200 and they have a 6:1 student to instructor ratio.

Our school is only $55-60 at this point in time and we have a 4:1 (or 2:1 if you count assignment to drivers in their run group) student to instructor ratio.

Man I wish we could have made this, but my car still isn't done!

Someone PM me next time this stuff comes up so I can ask off early enough for it. Will there be another one of these events again soon??
