MIAMI RX7 CLUB Meet every Thursday Night @ Fuddruckers in Miami
The location is at SW 104th Street & U.S. 1 (S. Dixie Hwy) @ 8:00 PM
Winn Dixie Shopping Center (Winn Dixie supermarket, Fuddruckers, K Mart)
We only have had one meet thus far and we want this venue to grow into a weekly gathering of ROTORHEADS.
Meet us each and every thursday night at 8:00 PM in the same Fuddruckers parking lot but just to the rear of the parking lot in front of K Mart.
Reason for this is that it is the same night that Bike Night takes place. As not to bother the Harley and chopper riders we are meeting in front of K Mart.
Don't forget... I dont know what it is but I have to constantly repeat myself and give detailed GPS instructions where the KMart is.. because it always happens there are one or two that try to park at Fuddruckers and then are calling me on the cell phone to find out where we are. Sound familiar Phil ?

Sounds Good Guys! I am in the Fuddruckers that night with my bike crew! Maybe i will stop by and Check you guys out while im in the area! If you guys see a bike come up! Its me! See you guys around!

I have been part of car clubs before, and I can tell you that a weekly meet doesn't usually pan out. Especially with the younger folk.
I recommend making it a once a month thing, otherwise it gets too played out, just like towers.
The only regulars at towers are vendors, rich guys with toys, and little kids trying to pick a race.
Just a personal observation.

That's right you said you were working overtime..My bad. well that was your choice to work overtime on sunday instead coming out to the meet.. i dont blame you if you want to work.. i am sure you have your reasons.
Directfreak's opinion of the meet on thursday becoming someone inundated and boring like towers may have some validity. I think that its worth a try and see how it works out..
Paul 'Lucky7305' had suggested having the get togethers at Southland Mall because they used to have them some years ago.. i believe he said he would look into it.
Let's try thursday nights and see how it turns out... it may just work out.. who knows.. but lets give it a try at least... sound fair enough ?

I will be at Fuddruckers thursday night for our RX7 Meet
I will be parked in front of the K Mart entrance to wait on the rest of you guys. My girlfriend Sonia will be with me.

Yo post teh pics!!! i had to show up and show dem 2dn gens that they can't hang with first gens!1 JOo Know it mang!! its was an ok gathering..we were able to keep the mood swings and the trash talking to a minimal and car related,**** related,party related conversation..no drama babye..cuz when a first gen is aroudn joo know its for running the car not our mouths mauahahahahahah!!1

Still editing the pics from last night.. turned out dark
Sam also took some pics so i will call him today to see if he can post his pics...
The ones I took last night came out really dark... so i am using photoshop to lighten them...
I will post later today... .. turns out its not the throttle cable... just simply that Charlie the mechanic used safety wire to hold the cable to the carb linkage and the safety wire gave up... so that is why i could not go past 35 MPH...
I dropped my girlfriend at her house and then its was a top speed of 28 MPH going home.. A cop got next to me and I flashed him my badge so all was cool.
Great having you guys that showed up last night plus it was a good time at Dennys.
that is what meets are about... No hostility... pretty cool
