NC March 8th Dyno Drag Black Mtn NC

Its about that time again. On the second Saturday of every month Appalachian Performance presents Dyno Drag! Same rules apply but we have a few changes. This will be 1/4 and 1/8 Mile Indoor Bracket Racing. You get three pulls, a practice run, youll then set your dial in, and then 2 runs. We have a full tree set up and the dyno is garrenteed to be within a tenth of a second accurate. This is prefect to prepare for the summer at the track and a heck of a lot safer. Remember, if you've hit something, you did something REALLY wrong There are no classes, everyone is welcome. Stock minivans to all out drag cars. Spectators are FREE!

PRIZES:

1st Place: $200 Cash

2nd Place: One Hour of Dyno Time

3rd Place: Three Test Pulls

Fastest ET: $50 Gift Card courtesy of Advance Auto Parts

Entry Fee: $40

Registration:
PLEASE REGISTER! Registration will being March 3rd. You can fill out the information on Myspace through the Blog or call the shop (828) 664-9010. THIS IS WHAT IS DIFFERENT FROM NOW ON-REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 2 PM THE DAY OF THE RACE.

Food will be on sale at the shop through local charities and church groups. I believe March will be Relay for Life. If you plan on staying the day at the race, please bring a camping or lawn chair as we dont have enough to supply everyone. Jackets may be in order. It is an indoor race but we will have to open doors to pull cars in and out. On the other hand, if its a pretty day the door will be open.
If you have anymore questions, please email me, visit the shop website, or call.

There is more detailed information on the Myspace Blog and on the Appalachian Forum on the website.

AND FOR THE MORE INFORMATION- I did some math the other night and for the price of renting the dyno for a day its a lot cheaper than each person buying their own dyno time. The local rotaries should get a group of about 15 people together and do a dyno day. So let us know what cha think.
