I am sure it is something simple so I will be going through the threads and figuring it out. I am down a Voltmeter though... There is one of these on each coil pack supposed to be plugged??


I'm no rocket scientist but I am pretty sure this shouldn't be this way. Brown wire is 12v and black is ground. Comes out from the harness under the battery.

This is what I have under the hood that is not plugged into anything. Like I said I am sure it is something stupid. I've checked the voltage on the packs and they are all at 12v. I checked the cont. on the fuel pump. Checked the resistance for the leading and trailing plug wires all four seem to be right at 16k one is a bit higher i think it was around 17k. Im going to swap the crank sensor sense that seems to be a thing to try. Digging for ideas very anxious to get this thing on the road.
I would start by cleaning all the grounds first. Use this as a guide.

Sure thing. You still have my cell? If not its in the top of this post. I've seen you like 3 times in the last week on the road. Still think you have one of the cleanest in the area! Anyway, I will probably be working on her Saturday morning but I am game anytime as long as I'm not working. So give me a call and I will get you directions. do this first
locate your ign coils closest to the headlight
next look at the harness running from ther
see if theres a 2 wire plug disconnected if not
push the wires in the clip deeper
when you get this done and its running i need a hamburger w/cheesssssssssssssssssss and a small dr pepper

SO, the lack of ignition is taken care of the leading coil was bad swapped it with one I had and spark baby lots of spark. So now its a fuel problem. I think it may just be bad gas or not enough good gas to over ride the bad. So my plans are for tomorrow or today rather, i was gonna run to church in the am should be out by 11:30 or so and then I will be back working on the beast. I have the tank off my coupe so I will clean and dry it go get fresh fuel and see if that fixes her. But I would still make the offer to anyone that wants to come out I am sure I will screw something up.. lol
