Brown wire is 12v and black is ground. Comes out from the harness under the battery. http://www.rightwingdaily.com/rx7/im...roubles008.jpg http://www.rightwingdaily.com/rx7/im...roubles009.jpg |
This is what I have under the hood that is not plugged into anything. Like I said I am sure it is something stupid. I've checked the voltage on the packs and they are all at 12v. I checked the cont. on the fuel pump. Checked the resistance for the leading and trailing plug wires all four seem to be right at 16k one is a bit higher i think it was around 17k. Im going to swap the crank sensor sense that seems to be a thing to try. Digging for ideas very anxious to get this thing on the road.

Sure thing. You still have my cell? If not its in the top of this post. I've seen you like 3 times in the last week on the road. Still think you have one of the cleanest in the area! Anyway, I will probably be working on her Saturday morning but I am game anytime as long as I'm not working. So give me a call and I will get you directions. I was trying to tempt people for a nice day of grilling and working on my car. lol maybe some part trading at mi casa while I still have it. Let me know folks I was thinking about the grill and some cuban style churrasco???

Alright headed back out to the hizzy 8633706800

Ok little update, I got spark and it will crank and run a bit on starter fluid. And I have fuel pressure at the rails. So maybe an injector issue???
|
ill call u tomorrow when i get up and come check it out. we will get that guy running for sure
|
if i get done early tomorrow i will pass by i think i can get her running
do this first locate your ign coils closest to the headlight next look at the harness running from ther see if theres a 2 wire plug disconnected if not push the wires in the clip deeper when you get this done and its running i need a hamburger w/cheesssssssssssssssssss and a small dr pepper alex |
HAHA Ok thought I could lure my fellow Latinos with some good latin cooking. Turns out Mc Donalds is the ticket...
SO, the lack of ignition is taken care of the leading coil was bad swapped it with one I had and spark baby lots of spark. So now its a fuel problem. I think it may just be bad gas or not enough good gas to over ride the bad. So my plans are for tomorrow or today rather, i was gonna run to church in the am should be out by 11:30 or so and then I will be back working on the beast. I have the tank off my coupe so I will clean and dry it go get fresh fuel and see if that fixes her. But I would still make the offer to anyone that wants to come out I am sure I will screw something up.. lol |

The BAC is what the one that is plugged into goes to.
