I haven't heard anything from the guys who wanted to do this whole "6 meets before DGRR" thing so I dunno. I think we should wait until the weather stops sucking. I want 70 degrees back!
Does anyone else think the Florida people need their own section? Seems like Miami-dade encompasses half of the Southeast on this board.

Anyway, brillo and I guess to anyone else that may be interested. I have never driven the gold FB. I bought it 'with a blown engine' hoping that it was just flooded. Turns out the engine is locked and that's as far as I got. So, I think everything else in/on the car is fine. I'll PM you the price though and more details.

My TII just has a crappy battery and I can't afford to keep putting gas in it, that's about it for my problems. I'll be up for a drive when tax money comes.
woohooo new wastegate spring.... fixed the exhaust breakage.... shes puring like a kitten at 1k.... now I need to figure out how to stop the hot start issue and I will <3 my TII.

awesome info... sounds exactly like my car. I just found another problem.... my battery dies overnight. I also found out that if I remove the neg lead on the battery and place a Multimeter between the lead and the battery terminal I get 12v..... WTF! so I need to pull apart my wiring and see whats up.

That's a lot of thread, I think I've seen that one before. My TII used to have a bad hot start issue and it eventually just went away after I drove it a lot. I still get it occasionally in the summer.
I read somewhere about pulling the EGI fuse rather than shutting off the car. That way all the fuel burns up, thus preventing flooding. Anyone ever done that? Wouldn't work if your hot start is due to leaking injectors.

Every time I turn the car off I cut the power to the fuel pump and let it run out... So you think it might be leaky injectors? Before I try the ecu thing?

Anybody know of a good electronics store?
Radio Shack sucks. I went to Shields Elect\ronics over on Middlebrook and they can lick my nuts. They wanted $1.50 for a $.20 capacitor. They also have the worst service of any store EVER. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and several people walked past me without even glancing over. I'm a patient person, but wtf. I finally went over and loudly asked the guy there "helping" someone else my question. Asshats...
