would there happen to be five people or more who would be interested in getting Steve Kan to come to florida to do some tuning? I read on the thing you need at least 5 people, otherwise I'll have to make my way up to ATL. I don't know all the details but it is $350 a car plus dyno time I suppose? All I know is that I have to let Scott at Rotary X know how many people might be interested....so...anyone interested? please?

Well my car was already tuned by Gaby, before I owned the car at 10psi, with enough fuel for well above 15psi. I have a Dyno day on the 23rd, if my tune isn't say...up to par, then I would be interested. But, I won't find out until after the Dyno day.

 

I would definetly be in, but my car wont be done for about a month, month in a half, but I would love to have my FD tuned by the Famous Steve Kan

when and where is up to the people who want it to happen, the sooner the better for me, but so far there arent enough people, can we spread the word to get at least 5 people interested then we can set time/date etc. I'm having fitment probs with the new turbo so I'm not going to be ready when I thought so I might be in the same time frame as ENVY IT.

 

Im interesed in getting my car tuned by steve, but i wont be ready for about a month. I need to get some piping made and install a clutch along with some other minor things. Where would this take place because im located in miami.

 

Don't worry, I won't be available until July/August anyways.

I suggest Pettit. Good dyno and if anything breaks on your car, they most likely have a replacement part. Also, good geographical location, although its more than 1.5 hours from me . I would be insterested in a re-tunning my car. Its tuned now but i did it myself, I'm sure steve can do better.

Unless anyone is against it, I can call steve and see what dates in July he is available.

 

no its not stock. It looks stock except for the front mount. It was there last week. Thurs, fri, sat, sun, and mon.

it has 99' j-spec turbos, greddy f-mount 2row, hks intake, down pipe, racing beat cat back, walbro fuel pump, greddy pulley, power fc. I think thats it, but its still running an origional mod map, greddy prospec B II boost controller. Cam at pettit told me to wait to get it tuned untill steve can come and do it.

 

im in if he can tune miatas. so far i tuned it myself but im sure that he can do better if he know my car.

 

since he stayed at my house last time he came, i got to talk to him quite a bit and he does tune non-rotary cars. Jared, if you make that thing any faster i will have to change the name from a go-cart to a shifter cart

 

now who is in charge of finding out when this can go down and set it up?

 

well, i'd love to think i'll have my haltech by then, but i doubt it. but i'll be sure to keep watching this thread and probably go check out the tuning anyways
