I think in May when Pete is back in town was the general idea. Nevertheless, this one is on sombody else- the last one cost me too much money.

Just a heads up ....on the 14 of April (this month, next weekend) the G'ville Raceway will have the road course open for test and tune. SOme of the local 7's are getting together at 6pm for BS and something to eat at Sony's BBQ. Can't say who will be at the track (except for me) just throwing it out there. Jack

What time does it start and end? 40 bucks for all day sounds awesome. Do i need anything other than all my lugs and a helmet?

6 Hr.s of track time 10 to 4 it used to be 8 to 12 and 1 to 5 $30 for one session $50 for the whole day but you had to pay for the day before you started (so if you decided not to run in the afternoon you were out the $20 bucks difference and if you waited till the afternoon to decide it was another $30 or $60 for both. Most people showed for the morning session as it was cooler, and that left allot of track time in the afternoon if you (and the car could handle it) The 10 to 4 works well as you don't have to get there so early and 6 hr.s will give you plenty of runs. The only draw back is there is no timing equipment so unless you have some time for you your SOL. I've got the components to put together a timing setup, I just don't have any timming software to complete the package. If anyone has any old software available they want to share I'd be happing to set up a timing system for future events.

Even with the 4 hr sessions I got any where from 30 to 40 runs with plenty of down time for the car to rest (brakes to cool off) and that was with quite a few drivers at the event.

Basic car safety is all that is checked, battery anchored down all the lug nuts, No major fluid leakage, and DOT/snell approved helet.

Hey all, been awhile. Sorry we cant make it this time... Still haven't fixed the oil cooler lines (leaking) and someone decided to help our convertable top in its effort to self destruct. The outer top I wasn't worried about as it was already torn, but the punks cut the inner liner as well. Still, at least they didn't get into the car. Hope to have oil cooler lines fixed pretty soon though.

Have fun at the track!!
Later,
Bill

I will more than likely be at the Gainesville event this weekend... so see you all there...

And not to be off topic... I will keep my eyes open for the Jax meet... I haven't been to Jax in a few years.. would be nice to get back up there and see the sights again!
