I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
Well Sam came up and we pulled out the motor and trans out
of my SA, and man O man the motor that was in it Is a R5 iorn motor
this means the R5 12A irons are as strong as S5 irons, So can you say
Big boosted 12a LOL

josh we all know what happens when you turbo 12a's.....

^bumpers, fenders, instrument design, dash, door panels, steering wheel, tail lights, weight, and i think the wheel base is shorter on the sa.
long, may i ask the perpose of the surge tank? i take it its fuel related, but if u have a constant pressure does it still surge?

Well the surge tank is needed because I still have a 12A fuel tank,
A 12A tank does not have a fuel trap in the tank to hold fuel, because
it was for a carb. But now it being EFI when low on fuel If I take a sharp
turn/ or hard boost, the fuel moves to one side of the tank and starvs the motor for
Fuel. So with a Anti surge tank, It holds fuel all the time, so hard pulls even low on
fuel / in a hard left or right turn, it is allway got steady fuel supply. So no going lean
when low on fuel.

Great turnout today guys. But, I have to say the turbo FBs once again dominate
Thanks to all who came out today. I did get the FB out there. I finished the trans at about 4am. Seems to be working out just fine.

good turnout guys, sorry couldn't run for a while, but we had to go run some errands. on a side note, that gave me time to install relays on my windows.... all i gotta say about that is i wish i would have done that when i first got the car, i don't know how i ever lived without them. i'm definitely doing headlights next
