I want to build a 100% carbon fiber 3rd gen rx7

Hi guys! I want to build an almost 100% carbon fiber rx7 body on a tube chasis. Can this be done? Would it be fast? What should I do first?

There is a guy who made a first gen out of carbon fiber. Put a 20b in it.

You will be hard pressed to do a wheelstand unless you put a V8 or huge turbo and run a Porsche G15 trans... Or hell, even a FWD trans over the rear wheels.

I was trolling for funny replies but I am actually relatively serious about the endeavor and also have the know how and resources to accomplish it. Any chance you could point me in the direction of his build thread or any additional info?

An FD would obviously be preferable since I can take the 3D scans or molds from my car that I already have but a 1G would be helpful.

there you go from start to finish the whole process is fairlly well documented. It is not a 100% carbon fiber but a whole hell of a lot of it is.

First thing you will need to do is build the tube chassis, then have them build you a carbon fiber body.

Carbon fiber can be a pain to maintain. Has anybody here seen the Nemo Evo project? I believe that car's entire body is CF.

I traveled down this road.
I had, re-adgt clone in carbon fiber wide body(2.XK)
GTC clone in carbon fiber(1K)
Some chinese rear bumper in carbon fiber(300$)
gt300 hood(800)
seibon doors and hatch(used for 1k)

All that was left is the unibody as non fiber. totalling just under 5k. It is possible to get close you just have to be dedicated. I still have the gtc, widebody, and hood if you want them shoot me a pm.
