Never talked to Andy Bullock, but I have talked to a Randy Bullock, an old gray-haired guy. If it's the same person, he wasn't very helpful, in fact, he made a lot of errors when it came to details about the garage. According to my attorney, it was probably less to do with skill as a builder and more to do with lack of respect for other ethnicities. I know of several people they built garages for and they had no problems what-so-ever, but my bad experience with them would not warrant me to recommend them to anyone. I called him several times and complained about the disrepectful crew working, the swearing, cigarette butts, trash and soda bottles left, not to mention they used scrap building materials (2x4s) put out for trash pickup from another project I was working on to complete the garage. Yep, they used old molded rain-soaked wood to finish my brand new garage and when I told Randy about it, he just said it serves the purpose and it won't hurt anything. He also accused me of nip-picking even though there are several people who have seen these issues in person can verify the poor workmanship.

Also, I designed and drafted the plans for the garage, so it's not one of their standard builds. I should have known there would be trouble when he tried to do-away with my plans and build something from their brochure.
BTW, it's actually large enough for 6 cars but I have the rear area partitioned into 3 rooms for my storage/work space, painting room, and welding room.

Ok, my bad, his name IS Randy. You dealt with the right guy.
Well that is too bad you had bad luck with them. I requested custom also, he drew the basic dimensions in front of me and gave me a fair price. It was build in under 2 weeks ( mostly concrete work, the actual structure was done in 3 days). They prebuilt most of the walls and roof support at their facility and then delivered to assembly in place - this is the primary reason I chose them since I think 'stick building' is just not they way to go unless you have skilled labor. Did they pre-build yours as a kit?
I hope you work things out with them. Its a shame lawers had to get involved.

Thats not good... I've heard horrible stories around Bham area after the tornados and how some of these contractors are in a hurry to build houses and mess things up. Its hard to find good contractors these days with qualified workers... People no longer cares, unless you do it yourself.

Chandler should be bringing either the gto or the yellow fd.
his TII is in pieces.... still. He pounded out some bearings last year and got it freshened and a power glide to go with it, but hasn't finished it all yet.

lol
tell phil there will be another cosmo there. My friend ( the event organizer ) has got in touch with ALOOOOT of poeple to bring out a ton of exotics. but two Cosmos in the same spot in alabama would be pretty sweet.
The guy that owns miso house and tokyo is going to bring his ferrari, tino has the R8 v10, chandler will prob bring his dad's maseratti, chandler's neighbor is bringing his ferrari. and a bunch of other "high end" cars that they have worked on.
There will be a cop there to deter any ***-hatery.
Moe's southwestern grill will be there selling burritos for $5.
So it seems like it will be a well organized event!
I am debating on either the formula mazda or the locost....

Well I plan to roll in before 9. Anyone wanting to meet up let me know. Not sure how long I will stay, if the weather stays nice I plan to hit the track. Was thinking of just showing up to the meet with the drag tires on and q16 in tank but that may inspire me to beat down some silly v8 and get a big *** ticket!
Richard.. whats the locost?
Don you want to meet up?

LOL. Yeah I had to. the guy was just letting it go because he wanted to put more money into his honda, so it sat outside forever and a day, paint is all jacked up and chipping, looks like it either got caught in a bad hail storm or he pissed his girlfriend off something serious and she took it out on the car, there is not a smooth panel on the entire car, but shes mine now and im trying to get her back into shape.

Hey guys,
I'm an auburn student originally from huntsville, and I'm looking for a shop around town that can look over my recently acquired FC. I had to swap out the old busted motor for a new(er) 13b. The swap so far has gone well (it runs/drives) but there's bit of a whine in the tranny and the idle is far from smooth. Any ideas where I can take this to get looked at?
Thanks guys.
