There's a few of us around. We poke our heads out from under our rocks on fair weather days when family and other obligations allow. Since our numbers are so few, we mainly make unions with other auto enthusiasts from Huntsville Car Scene or HSV Racing.

i havn't seen a turbo II in a loooooooong time.

but i have a red FD and daily a 85 GSL with a 6pt swap megasquirted on occasion.

also my friend just picked up a CYM FD for an amazing deal... wish i could have found it before i got my current one.

 

I just hope Chandler leaves it with a 13b, lol.

We should put something together soon. I'd like to finally meet some of you guys.

There's a drift event coming up at Joe Davis in May, I'm hoping to have my supercharged FC on hand by then.

 

We can get a big eds event coming up again.

 

any of you huntsville guys going to DGRR?? Also let me know if there are any fun car event in huntsville.

i know its a cliche local car audio thing, but i would consider them higher end and not your usual shady audio place lol. Ive never bought anything car audio related, but their last even was big with alot of nice cars.

This time around my friend is trying to make it a more higher end meet of hsv. Like Tino's R8 v10 and his exotic car friends. and of course THE matt tucker will be there lol.

Yep, going to attend. I went there last year to get away from powerless house. I got lucky it is still standing.

Don, is that a detached garage or attached? Looks like its detached and if so, did you build it yourself??

 

Thanks Phil. It is detached and I wish I had built it myself, it would be complete and fully functional by now. I'm currently filing suit against the company and builders so as soon as I'm past that, it's all go for completion... maybe close to the end of summer.

And Mike, speaking of RX7s, when are you going to get all your stuff together to replace your clutch? The lift awaits...

 

Should have new flywheel here this week. Then it's just finding time. Have hockey tournaments every weekend for the next 3 weekends. If you have a Wednesday off ever let me know.

Unless I take PTO or they announce NP days, I won't have a Wednesday off till July 4th. With all the OT and weekend work, I'm surprised my department hasn't been asked to work on Saturday too. Saturday and Sunday are my only open days.

I will figure a weekend out. Next weekend isnt as bad as I thought so if I get my flywheel here in time its on!

Track opens March and I plan to be running during the cooler days unlike last year. I only ran during 95+ degree days with 199% humidity! Track temp at last event was 140!

 

What happened that you have to sue?? Wife give me an OK to build a garage out back but money is tight right now... maybe in couple of years and after I sell my old home...

 

Upper loft area where the deck is attached to the side is leaking water and they have tried over 2 dozen times to fix the problem but each time they attempt, they do patch work that looks bad and causes the leak to get worse. The last visit I demanded they replace the OSB that had started to mold, and they refused and left and haven't come back.
