We need to get something going. The next local gathering will probably be the tuning session for whatever date is set. Garfinkle is hosting a BBQ July 8th, so maybe we need to organize a caravan for all who are interested.

 

I'm also going to try to make this event, but it's not looking great as I will be at the beach from the 1st to the 7th or possibly 8th.

Hey Shannon. I got your message, but I have been so busy with work, working on the 7 and all, I haven't had much time for anything.

 

yeah i tried to call you a couple of times but im getting kinda busy sometimes but we will get in touch soon. oh and phil im sorry about not calling you the day i said i would. i forgot about it that day because i had so many other things going on.


november sounds good to me so we will work something out. the rest of this month is really packed for me too.

 

Don, how is the car coming? Nov. sounds good. I have a busy weekend the second weekend but after that or before is fine for me. Not sure if anything is going on local (car show, etc..) but we could just do lunch-dinner! Any one here if HUS sold his car? I noticed it was for sale last month! I have also had 2 new FD owners contact me interested in getting together. One is a 94 with 99 twins (56yr old guy) and the other is a built LS1 (military guy) he should be back in Dec. I think. Car sounds very mean. he said they were expecting around 500rwhp!

 

Pretty much the same state when you saw it last. I've had a string of bad luck the last two weekends that prevented me from doing any work on it.

 

Mike, I think Hus is still trying to sell his car. Did you fix the cooling stuff and working ok?

Let me know if you guys are getting together for somethings.. I might drive up there.

 

Phil, I thought I fixed it... I drove it to Nashville and back and it held temps dead on 86 up and back. Car sat for a couple days and today I left for work in it and bamn, temps started creaping up to mid 90's. Sure enough, lots of air in the system that caused the thermo not to open, as soon as I open cap to let the air get out and replaced it with fluid it ran perect. I am thinking I might have a bad line or fitting... Will see!!

 

So Mike, what do you plan to do? I'm at a loss as to what it could be now. Let me know if you need any additional help.
