I have also had 2 new FD owners contact me interested in getting together. One is a 94 with 99 twins (56yr old guy) and the other is a built LS1 (military guy) he should be back in Dec. I think. Car sounds very mean. he said they were expecting around 500rwhp!
We've been out of the game for awhile, working on the business / patent stuff. Just thought I'd chime in. Courtney and myself are always up to hanging out.

Don, I am just going to start checking all hoses again? I am at a loss also since it passed both leak down test and also combustion gases in the coolant test. Could have been air still traped in the system but not sure about the presure build up. When I drove it to Nashvilleand back the temps were perfect and I took a friend for some hard street driving aswell so lots of boost and still the temps were perfect. Also the hoses felt some what soft (not too much presure in them). Not sure if air traped in the system could cause my problems or not. So I guess I will just keep searching for the anwser..
Sounds like we have enough cars to make a nice meet soon!

Why the FD is for sale....
We need something more practical. Something that can carry people and pull stuff. We have a car hauler now, but nothing to pull it with. Also my car, the race car, and another project or two all need to be towed to Memphis and back for the paint work.
Besides, we never take it out in the rain, we're scared to drive it to the store, due to potential for door dings. Things like that.
It's posted in the classifieds here on the board. Link to lots of pics too.
If you know anyone looking, please point them to the thread.

Bump for decisions on a get-together in HSV. The 11th, as mentioned? The guy that drove my wifes FD to Grafinkles has his car running now, so if not sold, maybe I can actually drive it since mine is "AFU" for the winter.

oops it was tonight...
but it was alot of fun!
haha other then the all-you-can-eat catfish, there were alot of really clean TAs and other Fbodys, as well as a c6 vette that sounds amazing. but the fastest car out of the lot is a 400+ hp integra running a GT30, it was running on pump gas tonight but still waxed anything he wanted to.
