March 18th
OK guys, mark your calendars for Saturday March 18th. The Tennessee guys are having another gathering at David Garfinkle's and then dinner that night. Details... https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/who-eating-garfinkle-510121/
For all the slackers who don't normally come out and hang with the rotary brethren, this is one gathering you should attend. So, who's going?

Saturday March 18 there will be a car show by Twickenham Auto Club at The Rock, on the Parkway just south of Govenors Drive. I am going to have my peripheral ported road racer there on display.

I would like to plan a tunning session here or close by so we can put that on the table for everyone as well...

The event will take us from Huntsville to some great (and historical) photo locations in southern TN and then back to Huntsville. So be sure to bring your camera! This will be a great cruise and a fun time to get everyone together. There are going to be cars of all sorts at this event, no matter what you're into. So spread the word!

You found another 2nd gen or is it the one you had mentioned before? What about the 1st gen? Still plan to dp an engine swap?
Red Touring w/ Tan Leather. Some small misc goods. New engine, New Tranny, and New Turbos with 70k miles on the chassis.
I didn't sell the black one because I didn't like it. I sold it because I wanted to make money. I made money, and I bought myself a new toy in January.
I have no grudges, but it's still just a car.
Adrian

Drove it around for about 20 minutes without a hitch, so it seems to have been a momentary loss of compression... I hope. I'll have to see how it runs today.

Wow, I just noticed this thread while poking around about the cruise tomorrow that Samir is putting on.
Just to clear the air about "the wife's car".....
It's the '93 BASE that was for sale in Madison. We've known the seller's family for years. Like, since the late '60's.
Red, black interior. 86,xxx miles. Re-painted. Clean as hell. Major oil leak at the pan and motor mount - to - pan bolts. Repaired by us!
Only mod to date is a use HKS dual filter thingy we got to replace the stock junk. Better filters on the way (not foam!)
The wife has always wanted one, so SHE bought it. I'm to big for FD's, so I lay no claim to her new toy. It WILL stay rotary as long as we can make this engine last. Even at the point of catastrophic failure, it may just get a rebuild. But you never know!
