I'll probably just leave from Muscle Shoals whenever and get to Chatt in time before you guys pull out toward the Gap. If I happen to get to Huntsville by 8:30 then I'll meet you guys at BAM.

any idea of how many 7's are going. I will be going

 

I think you and Brad are the only 3rd gen 7's. may be 1-2 1st and 2nd gens also. 2-4 rx-8's. I just about have my FD together but the damn dump tube for the waste gate is about 1-1.5 inches too long. Even if I have it running this week I do not think I will take it. Wont be much fun without a tune. See everyone at BAM. 8:30am Friday.

 

What time will we leave? Breakfast on the way out?

 

If we are meeting in TN at 11:30am (12:30 our time) we need to leave by 9:30 here. I think the RX-8 guys are meeting at Hardes on Sparkman/Parkway to leave out. They may meet up with us at BAM but if not we can just leave BAM by 8:45 head to Hardes, eat and hit the road by 9:30. ?? Sound good?

Now on another note I hope to fire up the 7 today/ tonight. So there is still a chance I will bring it. But small chance....

 

umm... if we're meeting at 11:30EST in c'nooga, that's 10:30CST... which means we ought to leave at 8:30... right? and us two 8's are planin' on meeting ya'll at BAM... unless ya'll wanna change...

you guys have the times mixed. We will meet up with everyone in Chattanooga @ 11:30 CST (12:30 EST), so if we left @ 8:45 CST, we will have over an hour to kill waiting on the rest of the group. We need to keep the departure time at about 9:30 CST which should have our ETA in Chattanooga around 11:00 CST (12:00 EST).

 

BTW, it only takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to Chattanooga, and that's doing the speed limit the entire way, not saying we aren't law abiding citizens who would ever speed, but I don't think it's going to take us 2 hours to get there.

it took less than that for me to get to cleveland, tn on the other side of chattanooga... i'm just giving us some extra play time in case someone would want to go take some back roads or something as a warm up....

I know I pretty much already said this but, I'm gonna be leaving Muscle Shoals around 7:45 and travel Hwy 20 thru Decatur and hit I-565 and just keep on going to Chatt. So I guess I'll just see you guys in Chatt even if I make it to Huntsville before you guys leave BAM because I actually don't know where BAM in Huntsville is, so I'll just shoot on thru.

 

It's less than 1/8 mile from I-565. Exit 19B to 231/431 N. Memorial Parkway. Stay on access road and turn left on University Dr (72 W.) You will see BAM next to Toys R Us on the right as you go under the overpass.
Since there are 2 BAMs in Huntsville, you could use mapquest and plug in Toys R Us to get directions to the one we're meeting at.
