Hey, iam new to SC, any of you around?

Hello,

I just moved to sumter SC recently as well as bought my dream car, a 1994 rx-7. I would like to know if there are any clubs around here. I also have a couple of other questions. Seeing that i just purchased my rx-7, i decided to try and get a haynes or chiltons manual for the third gen rx-7 before the car got shipped to me. Well, low and behold I CANNOT FIND A SINGLE ONE!!!!! Is this some sort of joke iam not aware of????? I mean i literaly spent a day trying to find any type of manual made for the FD and i came up with zilch. Can anybody shed any light?

Hey, us SC ppl usually meet every 1st saturday of every month. We alternate places to meet like Spartenburg, Charleston and Columbia.
Other times someone will point out a local auto-x event.

As far as a manual I would choose Haynes, havent seen one for 3rd gen 7's though.

later.

BTW, i own 2 cars, a 1994 rx7 and a 1999 trans am. Whenever i do go to the meets, do you think it would be a problem if my wife comes along in the bird (i know some of you would love to beat up on a Ls1 =) )?

That link does not work anymore. If you need the manual, hit me up on AIM and I can send it to you.

LT1, I know that there's another guy who's going to go with an LT1 soon. Maybe you two can have your own special anti-rotary meets. J/K. You're welcome at any SC RX-7 meet.

Yes, welcome to South Carolina. And, anytime the wife wants to join in, feel free to bring her along or let her drive the "bird". Meets in the upstate usually involve a drive through the mountains, some nice curves, and then dinner at our house. (Rotarycrazy is the other half)

I'm located at Shaw A.F.B. and I have had the pleasure of metting some of the guys on the forum. The are stand up people with alot of knowledge. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. I have seen and delt with a lot on these cars and have a lot of great connections. Hopefully we will meet up sometime down the road and I can check out your FD. Talk to you later.
