Damn sorry to hear that! Hope everything goes well for you, your 7, and everyone else to be affected by the storm!

We have our first Gustav refugees arriving this afternoon, a family of four plus some animals (one dog died on the way up here, too much stress). Old friends from when we lived in New Orleans, the same folks who spent a month with us after Katrina.

Anybody with friends down there should call and offer any help they can.

What's the latest info on that sucker? I use this site but not sure how to translate it..... basically when I see a HUGE *** hurricane that covers all of S. Florida, I know that I can't go to the store on slicks.

http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?r...101111&loop=no

It's pretty scary when the page is still loading and a giant storm pops out on top of the map...

Seriously, I hope that all the rest of the storms will clear us or something. We don't need any big ones right now (which supposedly are due sometime soon).
