I think we're still on standby so to speak after Johny and Bobby see how the parking is for the Mazda booth but I'd say 7 is a good time to meet and/or leave.

Who is Booby? Now I know why you're wanting to leave so early. Get your head back in the car, man. The CB does open at 6 AM and if y'all want to leave early I guess I can make it but lets all be sure we're going up to VIR for the right reasons, OK? Everybody just stay outta Greg's way once we leave Morrisville. In fact we'd better let him lead to avoid any bump drafting.

It normally takes an hour and 40 minutes to drive up and I was planning on making it up there around 9:00 am. If we can all agree to meet at 7:00 am and then those that want to bugout then can proceed; those that want to eat breakfast and want enjoy some rotorhead fellowship can eat and leave at 7:30.

Either way everyone fill up your gas tanks Saturday night. and we can fill up again in Roxboro.

Everyone wearing their Class A Tshirts for the event? Just don't get any motor oil, biscuit gravy or maple syrup on'em. Everyone got their tickets or know where to pick'em up on Sunday?

We'll be gathering at the Morrisville CB between 0600 and 0630 will eat and be prepared to leave for VIR as soon after 0700 as we can, once everyone that is going up in caravan arrives fully gased and ready to roll. ( I know its a dream I refuse to let go of. But I can always hope. ) See everyone Sunday morning

I got an email from GT Live saying that due a problem with the postal service I have to pick my tickets up at will-call window...does that mean I pick them up at the main gate where we drove through last time?

Only place I can think of to get them would be the toll-house thingy when you first pull in guys.

We'll keep 'em crossed on the weather... looked kinda iffy when I checked the VIR site a few mins ago. Whatever, rain or shine I'm going!!!! Hope you get some good runs in Johny, wanna hear how she does.

Sup, guys
Here is my report.
Well the weather sucked. Im in group 2 so on sunday I run from 10 to 11 Sat I riun 9 to 10 and 1:30 to 2 We're on the patriot corse so as soon as you cross the bridge hang a left.

For WILL CALL tix you make a right as you enter , there are signs.

There was a lot of excitement the Grand -Am practice, the stunt bike riders were sick, but the drifters were the most fun with a wet track the were a lot of mishaps, I saw 2 side skirts get left on the side of the track and a lot of plowing. Im still impressed, they just look so on the edge of outta control.

How'ed I do? Well I had the fastest Mazda....... also had the slowest. I was the only Mazda .
I think tomorrow ther will be a miata and an rx8 running.
I came up with a couple of friends that have acura's they were about 3 sec. faster than I was. Our insructions said if we went off track we were done for the day, needless to say I was very conseravitive. I don't think this rule applys tomorrow so we'll see. I think the fastest car was about 6 sec. ahead. WRX all wheel, wet conditions. so its understandable'
Hell there were 2 places wher water was flowing across the road.

Oh I almost forgot there was NO Mazda trailer yesterday, Maybe he will be there tomorrow.
I know my report could have been better but Im exhausted

If only 3 mazda's race then we already konw who will finish on the podium.. maybe one of us should jump in to give it a little mystery haha! NO Mazda booth... well we'll see what happens today. Chance of rain 90% ... better bring my umbrella...

Can't say that I can remember someone in HS with a Red FD at one of the RRDIs. I'd do a search on the Saturdays in Raleigh thread to see what turns up.
