I'm there for sunday to see the ST class go, possibly saturday too. I wonder if we can get some space to display our cars for mazda days. It makes sense to me to show off the rotaries since the speed source team is pimping a rotary on the track haha.

I found a new job! I'm now a GT Live Raleigh-Durham Promoter! :-) Some more information about Mazda days, there will be some space in the north paddock for Mazdas to park. It's going to be next to the MazdaSport booth and It's on a first come first serve basis, but we're going to try to make sure there is room for all of us. There will also be a mazda only karting session. Shaping up to be a hot weekend. Let's get a huge groub going! All the information is also posted on the mazda days website I posted above.

Bobby for the win!!! Yeah I see us leaveing Raleigh around... 5am!!!! Hell yeah I'd love to be able to park up there with the big boys hah!
addition: man with everything that's going on I might try and sneak Saturday off also, this is going to be one hell of an event car wise up there. might get close to some of the motorcycle events that they do!

I have weekend duty that weekend but I should only have to work that Saturday. I guess we need to decide what time we're gonna leave that morning. 5am would be nice Greg but that means I would have to leave here at 4...don't think Keri will be up for that. But we'll see.

Have to check what time the track opens, work backwards from that and see what fits everyone. It'd be nice to get to do the parking thing but I'd be just as happy to just have everyone show up!

. They don't have a car to use. I just got word of it this AM. The organizers are working to get them to use another one but as of right now there isn't an rx8 to ride in... and I was looking forward to that part too. If they get back in, I'm giong to see about getting some 'mazda' time
.

Looks like I am plan to take my 7 there on Sunday. If there is any gathering to head up there together, let me know.

Well, then I guess I'll settle for a ride in the hpi Racing Impreza! I have a nitro R/C car with thier body on it. It would be kinda cool, to get a ride in the actual car though...especially if Keri could geta good pic with me inside it.

long haul for one day, why not make it a weekend trip and stay in the area?
It's not so much the 8 hours drive as it is the cost of gas, hotel, tickets, and a whole weekend...
since I don't have a job right now and end up spending all the money I have on food and my car
Plus, I would have had to have heard of the event about half a year in advance to consider going.

Here is what I got last night.
Lets get it started so we can attempt to get an rx8 in the sim race! Who's in.
1. Me
Also, Mazda karting will be done in conjunction with the SubaruDays karting session (SubaruDays is the subaru owners meet sponsored by SubiSport mag. both sessions are on sunday from 11 to 12). It was setup this way because we are the two groups with the lowest expected participation at GT Live. I say lets flood that place with Mazdas! haha.
