i was told that you can have your vehicle equiptment found faulty, like speedo not reading right, i gould plea a prayer for judgement, but if i screw up in the next 3 years im boned, or i could plea open and try to get it reduced
call a lawyer dude its the best thing to even try. i have 4 tickets 1 (53 in 35) speeding 1 (68 in 55) speeding in a work zone 1 seat belt and 1 stop light. i called a lawyer and hes going to get everything drop but one point and thats really good. his name is Tyler Pokrass hes really cool hes in durham but i think its worth the 25 min drive to keep my license. it wouldnt hurt any to just give him a call and let him know whats going on it wont cast anything to call him. his number is 682-9273 ext 3. just tell him that eric church told you to call him he will prob be able to take care of that for you. eric

don't know about your state but in florida you can hire a lawyer and they can get you out of the ticket by just paying there fees and court charges!!!
also, if you go to court (again in miami, FL) and represent yourself, they will give the option of paying half of your fine and no tickets if you plead no contest!
both work really good unless you have a bad driving record

Well you've got a couple of options:
1. Go get your license renewed then go to court and tell the truth - its a rotary and you just got to drive it fast, it won't go slow (just joking on that last part). They will probably drop the license offense if you get it renewed before court and if you plead no contest they'll probably find for 49 in a 35 and you avoid the points. All this is contingent on a clean driving record and you haven't gotten anyone related to the DA or presiding judge pregnant!
2. The other option is to catch the judge or DA shacked up in a hotel with a 13 yr old girl and make them, the judge or DA, aware of your minor traffic transgressions.

You live in Cary? Call James Crouch. He's legendary in Wake County.
I've never used him, but lots of NC State guys rave about him.

I bet if you get Crouch you could get at least one thing dropped, like driving without a license.
Here's his number and address.

go to court, tell the DA it's your first ticket. ask for it to be reduced to 5 over, they'll likely meet you in the middle at 9 over. that carrys 1 license point, but no insurance points. they just want some money, they don't care about dicking you over on insurance. or, if you want it completely tossed give james crouch a call. he'll take care of it for ~200-250 total. tell him i sent you (ivan sealey).

My best advice is to plead guilty. Judges don't like people who they feel are lying. If you just flat out tell the truth he may make the punishment a little less strict. I went to traffic court twice for a single accident (cop wanted to call in witnesses) and was able to sit through court both times and listen. It seemed that those people who didn't lie and told the truth were let off easier than those who were obviously lying. Now, I don't know how your court systems are but this is just from my experience.

First off, You have to ask yourself .. Why was your license suspended to begin with ? If you knew that it was suspended why were you driving in the first place...
Cheaters never prosper... You tried to cheat the law by knowingly operating a vehicle with a suspended license.. you play then you pay.
I would say just go pay the ticket or go to court on it and admit your fault to the judge. Tell the judge you are sorry and admit to your mistake..
The worst that can happen is that he scrutinizes you for not being responsible enough to take care of business or he may just let you go.
If your license was not suspended you might have had a chance... at this point "YOU'RE DONE"
Like Jesse James said: " PAY UP SUCKER!"

expired, not suspended
Hey, the guy said the license was expired, not suspended!
I've gotten my share of tickets over the years and I would say plead guilty and take your lumps. However, if you're determined to get out of it...
Renew your license, if you can with a ticket pending. Take your renewed license with you to court and say how sorry you are that you forgot to check the expiration date and plead guilty on that charge.
On the speed, pick up some oversize tires (or wheels and tires) for the rear wheels and go to a speedometer calibration shop. Your speedo will read low and you'll get a receipt saying the speedo was corrected. Take this to court with you, and explain to the judge that your speedo was off and you're really sorry because you didn't mean to speed. BTW, at the speedometer calibration place they'll probably replace the drive gear for your speedo cable. Make sure you keep your old one to put back on when you put your tires back on.
The foregoing will almost certainly cost more than the ticket, and almost certainly less than a lawyer.
Peace,
T
