Ft. Lauderdale/Miami 1-day visit----->
I'll be flying into Ft.L on Friday for an early short business meeting,..but leaving in the Evening. What Seafood Restaurant(s) are worth making reservations at?? Also whats a "gotta see/visit" attraction in either venue??
Thanks for any advise/recommendations.

Ft Lauderdale is not MIAMI... almost like when people say they are from NY but they are actually from Westchester County.
Seafood places in Miami... I would have to say Joe's Stone Crab on South Beach...
The line is a 2 hour wait unless you tip the man... but great service.. do remember to leave a 30% tip though.
Years ago I went to a seafood joint in Ft Lauderdale by the name of Harbour Lights .. it doesnt look like much but I did get to meet Buddy Hackett from the Disney movie "Herbie the Love Bug"

Rustic Pelican ...............also in miami, don't know how long you will be here but if you stay until sat. go to space in downtown! great place. friday night 7-11 there is a local car meet at towers, not many rotaries show up but sometimes we have a good turn out! tower is about five minutes from ft. laud airport
"Aruba" at Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Its kinda hard to find but one hell of a seafood place to eat. Its right on the beach, and one of the side walls is full glass (you can see the beach as you eat fully). Its on A1A and Commercial Blvd, right at the exact end of Commercial...

I love to go to Pacific Grill everytime I'm down there. It's a little ways north though, it's in Boynton Beach. Worth the drive though.

I second Aruba, Its nice driving down A1A from the strip of Fort Lauderdale Beach/ Beach Place. Been there 3 times? I miss being able to just take a drive down to Key West. BEST seafood there, especially Crabby Dicks? Its something with Dick in it on Duval.
